This is kind of embarrassing to admit. There were two Animus Data Fragments that I had difficulty reaching. If I had made collection videos for Revelations then I would have worked out a way to get them without using any special abilities. Eventually I used parachutes to "hang glide" to each fragment and called it good.

One of them was on the side of Galata Tower directly over a haystack. Try to drop down to it and it's an auto-Leap of Faith. Games Radar also gave up and recommended a parachute on this one.

I can't remember exactly where the other one was but it must have been in (or adjacent to) the Arsenal district. It was on a protruding beam sticking out of that giant wall around ship harbor. I could almost reach the beam with an advanced wall run but not quite. So I ended up climbing the highest mast of a ship directly opposite the Data Fragment and parachuting across. That's another reason I recall it being in Arsenal - the ship. However, I haven't been able to locate it in Games Radar's guide.

Does anyone remember how to get either of these Animus Data Fragments without using a parachute?

I think I remember the one by the Arsenal. It's on a high wall and I think right by a view point. From what I remember you are able to reach it by using the hook blade to launch yourself up at a certain spot nearby while climbing, like in this.

It has to be a launch, a regular climb leap with the hook blade won't work.

I think so too. I remember I had a lot of trouble getting the hookblade-launch to work. Could be this was to reach another data fragment, on a tower-like structure somewhere in the central-north region of Constantinopel (pretty close to the docks). In the Arsenal it may have been a viewpoint that had to be reached by doing the hookblade-launch.

As for the Galata tower, I did that one with the parachute, although I think it may be possible to drop down on the other side of the tower and climb your way around it, because there are a lot of [don't know what it's called*]s on all sides of the tower.

* I meant to say the things that you use for climbing, the protruding rocks and beams and whatnot to hold and pull yourself up. Is there a universal name for this?

Maybe you can try to fall not directly on it but from as right (resp. left) as possible and then catch the wooden thing to the left (resp. right).

Hey mate, this is part of Galata. I just standing at the edge and facing the tower and then standing jump and press "Grab". it's very simple, right?

But I'm not sure where is another one, could you Provide a screenshot?

That's the one! You figured out how to get it without a parachute. Very clever. Rob's applause

It would take me a while. I'd probably have to start a new game (because I've already collected it) and find it again. Somebody who knows which fragment I'm talking about could beat me to it.
