I was just looking through some other forum posts on other sites talking about AC3 and where it's headed. All their "predictions" and such were crazier than EA's ideas (just poking fun. Tee hee).
For example, a user was saying how Desmond's hidden blade should be a "light blade"; basically a lightsaber hidden blade. Yes, he was serious.

Then you get stuff we've all dismissed before: Ezio should be the ancestor in AC3, Lucy is the descendant of Eve (even though Juno forced her death for a reason), the series should involve gun fights, etc.
Anyone remember the most ridiculous "prediction" for the series they heard on a forum?

The theory is that Subject 16 is Desmond and he's the one who left all the glyph and rift clues, as well as being dead. Subject 17 is Desmond's son (also called Desmond apparently), who is viewing Desmond's life in his own animus.
Huh.
I'm not sure if this can be considered a crazy idea, or just a supremely stupid idea that I'm thoroughly sick of hearing about.
They said that Desmond is the main character, not anyone else. Come on, people! Pay attention!

Actually, I thought that, too. I read (more like skimmed) a book recovered that can be dated back over 6,000 years ago, more or less. It was actually about The Ones Who Came Before, but they came from a different planet, that of which is actually in our solar system, but has a very odd orbital path. Everything else in the book is actually exactly the same as what the AC games have revealed.

I remember someone on gamefaqs was said that AC was racist because they never had any Asians in it, but they were probably just trolling. It did generate quite a large response, however.
One of the videos I put up (or maybe one I saw today) had a user say something like, "the singleplayer is confusing and dumb. multiplayer saved this game"
I only paraphrased the 2nd sentence.
