Hello,

New person on the forums here. Looking for a place to read and share about the AC experience.

Pleased to meet all of you.

About how I started : I first tried out AC : B a few months ago. I was having a hard time moving around (being used to playing FPS games) but when I played the virtual training I got used to the mechanics and eventually enjoyed and beat the game. Its really rare to find a game that has so much story in it. The events in the game are plausibly (at least for me) thought of, weaved into actual historical events so convincingly that I'm starting to think that there's a real Abstergo and they're out to control us. (O_o)

Impulse-bought the Director's Cut AC for PC last month and I'm backtracking to personally experience the preceding games. (even though having played AC : B and reading the series' story from the Internet gave me some clues and spoilers) Took a while to adjust to the slower-paced action (repetitive things to do for every town, waiting for counter-kills, kill streaks haven't been invented yet in 1191 A.D., etc.) but I'm still enjoying every bit of it. (and have started to unconsciously tuck my left hand ring finger into my palm for no reason)

Definitely sticking to the series. Getting AC 2 for Christmas (^^.)

Many thanks to the makers for such a wonderful game.

Welcome...and I'm still going with Microsoft. Bill Gates just seems a bit evil to me.

Piece of advice - get AC1 and play it first. Then play ACII, rather than playing the whole series backwards. After ACII you could replay AC: B or just move straight on to AC: R. At least then you can appreciate the story and gameplay progression throughout the series.

Also, welcome to THB! Laughing out loud

Welcome r4secc and thanks for introducing yourself! We'll all be interested to hear how you keep getting on with AC1 and then AC2 when you get that for Christmas. Will look forward to your comments in the future! Laughing out loud

welcome, thanks for making a topic about your arrival unlike dem lerkers

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

Does anyone know off the top of their head who wrote the song I'm a Believer? The answer may surprise you.

Welcome to THB, r4secc. Hurry up and play AC2 so you can get on with Revelations!

LOL - good one, FLAE. Patrick was correct with Neil Diamond!

The Monkees had another "Believer" hit, namely Daydream Believer. That one was written by John Stewart of the Kingston Trio but I guess he isn't as famous as Mr. Diamond.

Yes I purchased AC1 last month and only beat it last week. Now I'm starting to make sense of all the back story stuff mentioned in AC:B

And yes, I plan to play AC2 next, replay AC:B and finally get Revelations. (but I think I'll wait for a few months when the potential bugs have been ironed out and the price is a bit cheaper ^^;;)

Thanks PatrickDeney Smile
