I think it was Black Flag where this became an issue for me, but I'd like to ask people to keep target names out of video/thread titles for a bit of time.
Not all of us can play through the game in a week.
Imagine if on Day 1 of ACIII there were a topic called "I can't believe Haytham was a Templar!"
In a game of twists and turns, I would greatly appreciate it if things were kept on lock-down in thread titles once the game comes out.
I'm not saying put a lid on spoilers, just in unavoidable places like thread titles. This place is dead enough already, and I'd hate to have people (me) go dark to avoid things on their own.
I think the convention became [Sequence #][Memory #]... or S#M# Target... or something like that
I don't know how long this request should hold, but I, personally, am voting for "end of calendar year"... so 2-mo.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Time to get Stabby out there.
I hate spoilers even if it's something I don't care about. It's just rude! I think there should be a month or two grace period. Even with that, putting "SPOILERS" in the topic title to warn about the content works for me. I know I won't be able to get this game finished (maybe not even played, but who knows) until late December.
Two months is fine by me. I'll likely still use Quest Names / Encounter Names if it's nothing insane like "The Fall of ____" or whatever. But yeah, let people enjoy the game on their own time and at their own pace. It's the healthy thing to do.

Yep! I agree if there are spoilers in the content, then you can use SPOILERS in the title, no problem.
But when the title itself is a spoiler, it gets kind of annoying.
The AC sub-reddit is already a spoiler mine field I'm just going to have to go dark until Nov' 3rd. However it's good to see the game getting a lot of praise.
Non-spoiler review:
One of the best AC games ever made.
My new fave game of all time, tied with AC1.

I haven't beaten the story yet, but so far yes.
31 hours later and I've barely touched the story because Egypt is so beautiful and so vast that I can't help but try and explore it all ! The game is amazing not only by Assassin's Creed standards it's just a phenomenal game period, honestly one of the best I've ever played. Personally AC Origins> ACII for me. Definitely one of if not the series best installment to date.
Quick question... is there a way to undo starting a mission completely? Like, if you accidentally start a mission way over your level and it's an escort mission that leaves right away? I ... may have done that.
The good news is that even if your "ally is getting low on health" they don't die (at least this one didn't)... so I was able to hide my level 17 ass in a building while the person I was escorting fought the 5-6 level 21 guards for 10 minutes... getting knocked down, then standing up 30 seconds later, etc until he killed them...
I know you can reload from last checkpoint, but I haven't found an option to cancel the mission.
Thanks.

The only option is to not track a quest. I made this mistake too, when I untracked the NPC just stood in the starting spot and the mission played out like normal when I returned a higher level.

Whoa, guys, the title said no spoilers! I didn't plan on buying Origins this year, so no need to worry about spoilers from me.
2 months sounds good for me, also I agree this is the best AC game I've played in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time~ <3
every day I'm so excited for work to end just that I can rush back home and jump in the game~
