NEW way to lower/put back hood! MUCH faster!
In ACIII thay should just make this an option instead of making players do all this.
The hood is a symbolic statement on how much an assassin is devoted to his cause. Of course, they're exceptions to this statement.
For example, when Ezio first wore his dad's robes, he took down his hood every time he's in a building. By the time ACB and ACR had rolled by, he nearly wore his hood all the time. The only time he took it down was to flirt with women or to relax (before the siege). By the time Ezio retired, he stopped wearing the hood all together.
Altair wore the hood at all times, as he was raised as an assassin from birth. Only time when he took of his hood is when he's talking to his son. This is a very emotional scene, because he's talking to him not as an assassin, but as a 92 year old man who went through a lot.
But yeah...there should be an option to lower the hood down. Maybe after you get a % at synchronization.
It should only be an option after you complete the game or when you're indoors. Since when you're in the Assassin Hideouts in ACB and ACR you can't do anything more than jog, you should be able to press the head button to remove it.
I like that, is there any functionality to L3 or R3? can't remember..the hood is a cool idea though.
L3 is eagle sense in ACR, and before that it was first person view. R3 adjusts the camera at a default angle right behind you in all of the games.
Right, I remember the camera adjustment now. That would be the button to reasign to me! Never used the cam adjust, and I like the..."novelty" of a hood up/hood down button.
