"At the end of ACII we realised that the PS3 was sort of an afterthought – or, not that it was an afterthought, but we hadn't fully debugged it until the very end, and we had a bunch of frame rate issues and quality issues. This time around we knew that, because we went through it once, so we decided to attack it from the beginning and I think the final product is much more on the level, and even on some parts, the frame rate is probably sometimes better on the PS3 than it is on 360."
^YUSSSS!!!
Ok, Asaic, what do you think of THAT?
Thank God! TBH I never had a problem with the PS3 gameplay of ACII but then I've never played it on the 360 or PC. I'm just glad it'll definitely be on a par this time and we won't miss out on anything.
i have too bring this up
look at the tv behind him from 1:11 and onwards. what's going on with the title?
is that one of those stupid 3D tv's or is something wrong?
It could possibly be an intentional 'glitching' of the title...? That happens in ACII on the menus. The titles and loading screens sort of flash and echo and make odd noises. I've always thought it was just to give a sense that you were inside an Animus as its loading.

Are you sure you want to ask?
That info isn't very useful at all. In fact, it just sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about. He's implying that the PS3 version had lower framerates across the board and that that was its major problem. Not so.
The PS3 versions of both AC 1 and 2 already had really high framerates at some points and lower at others (whereas the 360 version was pretty constant throughout), and therein lied the problem. Having higher framerates 'at some points' is a flat out admission that the framerate in AC:B is inconsistent, which was the main problem with the first two games on PS3. Bouts of high framerates is what causes screen tearing – something the PS3 version of the first two games greatly suffered from – and that quote makes it sound like it'll be the same thing again. Looks like we'll be back in the same boat for round three, but with less of the low framerates and more of the screen tearing. Hardly a contention.
Now if they had said that they had smoothed out the PS3 version to a constant 60fps and locked it there (to prevent tearing), then I'd be listening.
Besides, the main difference for me is the controller. No amount of Ubisoft debugging will ever fix that.
At 2:54, there was an assassin that used a smoke bomb when they were up against ONE GAURD. I think this is my biggest fear with the BAM is that the AI will use powers like smoke bomb a inappropriate times.

Chances are the AI will have unlimited usage of things like that, so it really shouldn't be a problem. If you're using a BAM, chances are you need to cause a major disturbance anyway.

That's true but if you have Ezio plus two assasins fighting a single gaurd it doesn't really make sense to use a smoke bomb there. Besides, using a smoke bomb in combat is kinda cheap anyway.

I'd say that's more the fault of the player for wasting the rare BAMs on a single guard.
