so, a few weeks ago i decided to check in on the first game again to test a copule of ideas.
first of all, i totally nostalgia'd. i had no idea i missed all those sounds so much, sepecially that *shink* sound from a hidden blade kill
anyway, to the main course. first i wanted to check if i could get the european and arabian soldiers to fight eachoter. cause well, they are supposed to be hostile to eachother. and i always wanted to see a threeway fight.
the best way to try this was right outside Masyaf, where there is one group of arabian and one group of french soldiers, so i got one to chase me to the other.
CONCLUSION: does not work. as expected really.
the next idea i wanted to test, this is especially for you FLAE, considering the history of you'r Eagle bruise play vs my Low Kill-count play.
i tested if people actually do die from fists or not, if there's any difference from swords and knifes.
whenever you use fists to knock a guy out, they lie on the ground screaming for a bit.
this also happens when you kill a guy with swords and it's not a counter or combo kill, but simple war of attrition, they lie there screaming for a bit.
the thing is, that after a few seconds in both cases they all go quiet after a while, and they both die.
this means that even in the first Eagles Bruise, you still kill them.
CONCLUSION: i am still the ruler of the pacifist play. muhahaha 
that last part will probably only make sense to those who remember the "controversy" between mine and FLAE's special play
Sorry ROB but there's a key difference between killing someone with fists and swords in AC1.
After you knock out someone like a guard or a knife thug, the guards will only inspect their bodies if they were killed by a sword. If they were simply knocked out, they go on ignored, proving that the game recognizes a difference between knocking someone out ans slicing them in half.
And anyway, lets be realistic here, you cant kill someone with 8 punches.
