Mr. Robot
Anybody else watching?
Season 3 is 6 episodes in right now and it's better than ever.
For those unfamiliar, Mr. Robot is a show about a hacker working a regular cybersecurity job (played by Rami Malek), who uses his skills to fight everyday evil, from abusive drug dealers to greedy CEOs. While struggling with complex mental issues and a morphine addiction, he gets recruited into a hacker collective fighting for a much bigger cause, which leads to a web of power-hungry players, betrayals, and hidden agendas. The show has its share of mindfucks.
S3E5 was shot in a single take (or maybe there are some cuts and it just looks like a single take), which is really amazing. I love stuff like that.
Also, if you start watching and you're left with a million questions during/at the end of season 2, don't worry. Season 3 (specifically episode 3) ties a lot of loose ends together.
Mr. Robot was one of my favorite shows of all time; I finished watching Season 1 and eagerly anticipated S2. Never ended up watching S2 or S3. But I really want to. I'll get around to it, eventually.
