WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah the title explans it all i don't have a link

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

I'm seeing a lot of negative comments about the new Spidey movie. Mostly they're comparing it to the first 3, saying how Tobey IS Spider-man, the new guy looks nothing like the character (too skinny?), there's no MJ, the CG looks crappy, and that it's too "emo".

1. The 3rd movie bombed, which is why Sony rebooted it. Also, Raimi and the actors didn't want to continue making them.

2. Andrew Garfield looks exactly like Peter Parker. Plus, he nailed the awkwardness that Peter has always had. Tobey looked like a douche pretending to be a dork. He was way too muscled-up. Spidey is supposed to be a skinny, awkward nerd. He doesn't need to build up muscle to be strong. That's why it's called a superpower in comics. But he might as well be slightly toned.

3. Mary Jane wasn't Peter's love interest until the late 70's/early 80's. His first love was really Betty Brant (the Daily Bugle receptionist from the movies), then Gwen Stacy (in the new film), THEN Mary Jane. If they follow the storyline well with Gwen, this will be the best reboot ever made.

4. I personally thought the CG at the end of the teaser looked fine. His outfit looks great, but I'd prefer the eyes to be white (they look yellow-ish) and his fingers to be all red, not blue.

5. Too "emo" seems to be thrown around too much nowadays. The people that have said this back up their comments with "I've always seen Spider-man as being a fun character!"

Okay, first: get your head out of your ass and read one of his comics. Not one of those that you find next to the toy aisle. Go to a comic shop, buy something like "Kraven's Last Hunt", read it, then tell me he's a "fun character".

He's been surrounded by death since he was a kid. Possibly moreso than Batman. His parents died, his uncle was murdered by his mistake, his villains (Lizard, Green Goblin, Venom, Carnage, etc) are mass murderers, and he was even the cause of the death of Gwen in one of comic's most memorable stories. He has the toughest life of any hero. The only way he's "fun" is by making wise-cracks during fights at his villains. By doing this, he dodges the negative feelings he would otherwise let loose, making him become a hard ass, and therefore more of the "menace" the Daily Bugle publicised him as.

God, I'm a genuis.

Alright, well they haven't officially put it up, I guess. Must have pulled them down. But I saw a correctly formatted version on Thursday.

Here's a good quality recorded one, if you're into that.

Why do all marvel movies come out in may?.

A lot of action movies come out in May because that's when the summer movie season begins, which is when most people are more willing to go out with friends to see all these awesome films. That's why the awful quick cash movies come out on Christmas/the holiday season. No one wants to go out to see movies during the holidays, so they throw the knowingly awful movies out where no one can see them. It's all business.

Hollywood also tends to release their "serious" movies toward the end of the year, so they can be fresh in the minds of Academy voters.

Oh yeah! Those, too.

The big blockbusters are usually the ones during the summer season.

The trailer was awesome. Though, it did reveal alittle to much don't you think?. From the trailer alone, we learn of the unmasking peter, there is an arrest warrent for spider-man. I think thats alittle much.

The police think he's a menace? What a shocker! Honestly, what Spider-Man story doesn't have him known to be a menace to society?

And the mask thing? I doubt they'd show us something that big before the movie's out. First of all, notice that he immediately uses his speed and reflexes to stay face-down and in the dark most of the time. So what if the chopper catches this detail: A white male with dark brown hair. THAT narrows it down. Especially since he's just a high school kid.

If they explained how Peter has these powers this time around (the origin is different), that would be a little much.

It's similar to that; more so in the feel and everything. Kind of inspired by it than the classic comics, which I'm okay with. But there's a lot of speculating that Peter's dad helped create the mutated spiders that end up biting Peter (on the back of the neck instead of the universally known hand bite) and transferring its genetic material to him.

Along with this, the original formula that helped create these spiders was also supposed to help Dr. Connors (The Lizard) regrow his right arm.

I will slap you so damn hard...

Gwen was there first. Sam Raimi's films didn't follow the comics very much. Mary Jane didn't meet Peter until he was an adult. This new movie actually borrows a lot from both Ultimate and original Spider-Man universes.

And you call yourself a Spidey fan. Tsk tsk...

Love the Lizard Man. I was actually pissed off by its absence from the Toby trilogy, and the fact that Dr. Connors had two arms...
