I remember seeing a topic on this a while ago where you must kill every guard instead of escaping. I found killing all the guards before others respawn frustrating, but while trying that method i found a better idea.
While fighting i realized that the lowest amount of guards you can have alive at one time is 4 before more come. I tried combining them with Pazzi but it got confusing, its best to just kill them all ( the weak thugs, one of them got the brutes weapon somehow lol)
Because Brutes cannot climb, i decided to take them out too. Using the disarm exploit i killed both of them and kept the last weapon. When you get to 5 guards left you may as well use the counter as you will lose your weapon, but you will not need it once there are 4 left. Lure the rest of them to the wooden crate thing. I find it is best to climb on top of it as you get them very close together. Then simply grab one of them and throw him into the crate to kill everyone before anyone else can respawn.
I decided to keep the last clip, the guy in the background is floating around in a way i have never seen before, no idea what happened to him.
This could go into the sequence 1 category for videos as there is nothing there, but as i took many hits at the start if someone can perfect it it would be better to send that in instead
nice! thats a clever way to eliminate the guards before they can respawn. youve been doing some grt stuff. keep it up!
Thanks, i just found a way to kill Uberto without getting an alert either, no guards enter the area once i assassinate him. Unfortunately i take too long to do it so recording takes ages, I will just show the result
I think you have the respawn wrong.
In the three times I've experimented with this I've noticed the respawn timer is 5 seconds once 3 guards remain. The easiest way to eliminate all of them is to disarm a brute and keep the axe/longsword you get from them. Get everyone's health meter down to one block so that they can be killed quickly before new guards are garrisoned into the battle. Then once everything is in place, wipe out all but three guards, and start swinging the weapon like a madman. If you manage it all correctly, all the guards will be dead and you won't even have to move from in front of the gallows.
That's a great idea with the crate, though. I forgot it was there, it would have made the Eagle's Bruise version of this much easier, but oh well.
And a word of warning to those that think if they leave only the Pazzi they will get a quick kill: The Pazzi will pick up fallen guard's weapons and have the same skills as the guards themselves, so mind yourself.
Yeah if you notice in my video a Brute disarms me and one of the pazzi picked up the weapon. Anyway i guess i did something wrong because it seemed as soon as i got to 3 guards, more came before I could finish them off. But since we know your tactic from the other topic i decided to show a different way of doing it
Nice, but I always have such bad luck climbing during fights, not to mention getting the guards to stay close when I throw one into the crate. I like FLAE's way better.
By the way, that was my thread you're referencing in your original post.
Also by the way, I'm not dead
A good tip for getting guards to stay close is to climb the crate, but do what you think works best
A good tip for getting guards to stay close is to climb the crate
That's what I did in Stylish Assassination: Talal (AC1). I discovered it after climbing the scaffold to get some privacy to equip the Hidden Blade. The Xbox D-pad controller was notoriously hard to use on AC1. They've really improved it for AC2.
