Just Cause 2
Anybody played this at all? I've just started getting into it and at the moment it seems pretty similar to Far Cry 2. Pretty good really, although the way he runs is ridiculous.
I couldn't stop playing the demo for a good while, it was pretty fun, I love the grappling hook.

Yeah the demo is cool too. I liked how you could just free roam (within reason) and completely ignore the missions. The actual game is even better. Over-use of the grappling hook and parachute never gets old 
I played it for like 2 months, than i bougth Red Dead Redemption, but when i was playing Just Cause 2 i loved it, it's pretty fun and i like the free-roam. And like Patrick said about ignoring missions, so...this is what i did, i just ignored the missions and keep killing and using grappling hook with parachute and stuff.
Note: note that when you are in the middle of the "Grappling hook pull" if you open the parachute, you make a "Super Jump" . I always did that when climbing mountains, lol

Far Cry 2, you say? I will definitely have to take a look at this game more, Far Cry 2 was one of my favorite games of all time.

Yeah its similar in the fact that its pretty open (although Just Cause 2 has WAY more to do than just collecting diamonds 
) and you can ignore the main missions for a while too. It also has Factions (3 rather than 2) who you help out and do various jobs for (which unlock the main Agency Missions).
There are loads of cool vehicles and the parachute and grappling hook are clever as well. Seriously, you should definitely play it if you liked Far Cry 2 as I loved it too (yes, I even enjoyed the driving ) as its basically a third-person, bigger, better version of it 
Oh and make sure you shoot the tires off vehicles if they're chasing you. The resulting explosions are truly epic and are worthy of any action movie!
Sorry I'm a bit late to the party, but I LOVE THIS GAME. I've only played it for a couple of hours, but using the grappling hook in combat is one of my favorite things to do already
