Informer Escort Challenge
Jerusalem, rich disctrict. Stealthy escort.
Those of us who only play on Xbox or Playstation aren't familiar with these escort challenges. It's interesting to see other mission types in AC1. What was supposed to happen at the end when the bug occurred?
Yea, the bug didn't occur, it flew across the screen. AC has bugs.
At the end I just lock on the informer, and then he says thank you, and tells the information he has.
I totally forgot that this is one of the investigation types that the console version doesn't have. The video doesn't make much sense, if you don't know what these missions are about.
Normally, you walk with the guy, and when you get close to those sets of guards, they attack and you have to fend them off. What's special about this stealthy way is that I have to manipulate the movement of the informer so that he doesn't get close enough to the guards that they attack, but doesn't get too far away from Altair, because then the mission fails.

Oh, an insect! I thought you meant a software bug (glitch). 
if you're gonna do another escort mission, could you maybe do one how you would "normally" do it, with dialouge and all so we less fortunate can see it all?

Very well done, I play on PS3 so this is a whole new challenge for me to take in. Can I ask are there any other minor/major differences between say a PS3 and PC with regard to extra challenges?

Is there a fast travel in the console version? On the PC, from the third MB on or so, you can teleport between the cities.
The major difference is that instead of some of the eavesderopping and pickpocket missions there are four new missions: escort, archer assassination, rooftop run, and merchant stall destruction.
Not sure, but I also happen to know that on the PC verisan the gurads are a great deal more alert and aware of Altiar's presence.

On the consoles you can fast travel across The Kingdom starting in MB4. The difference is that you can only travel to/from the outskirts of each city. The PC gives you the choice of a destination inside the city walls.
I can't understand why these extra missions were not included on the console's in the first place, I think they would break the pace up nicely
