Informant Challenge - Acre Rich District
The aim here again is to kill all the targets in high profile, making these challenges much harder. I collect the flag on top of the fountain as a quick respawn point.
Most targets in these investigations have a set patrol with points where they stop and look around, usually shops or pots etc. I decided to wait him at one of those spots and do a high profile kill front on. Kill guards elsewhere to lure them away.
My first recorded eagle strike! This one took practice because there is a patrol in the area. The target walks anti-clockwise around the viewpoint, the patrol walks clockwise. The target starts his patrol as soon as you finish talking with the informant, and the patrol starts their route once you get close to the area, which is why I walk towards the area to give the target time to get seperated from them.
I have just successfuly replicated this!...sort of. Im so going to upload it so you can see how i did (:
This isn't worth making a new thread over, heres my attempt! It was done on the PC version of Assassin's Creed, not my xbox.

Your video is 640x360 plus 25 pixels for the toolbar. Normally we use fmt=18 but I bumped it up to 22 because it explicitly supports 720p (read about fmt values). I'm not sure if it matters anymore.

what's with all the textboxes. i seriously hate those things, and black text on dark blue is not very good if you wanna read it.

My editing software is Vegas. Very annoying to add text, especially if a lot. Youtube's annotations make it far easier, as its fairly simple to do. And you're right about the black text on dark blue, I could care less about that though, its not what I want to get across. The 2 main things I like to get across in each vid are:
-Visit thehiddenblade.com
-720p (as of now)
Anything else important usually includes credits, people, or links to other videos. In this case, Jack's original video. The dialogue is just a bit of humor, if you've noticed, most people who make videos for thb do that (:
when the textboxes are funny or informative i have no problem with it.
for example Al-Assas video called "sheep glitch" did a wonderful job on the textboxes.
it's when they are taking up too much space, mostly by being more than one on-screen at a timel ike at you'r beginning when i just cringe. and the permanent box on the top doesn't help.
i'm saying this as constructive criticism.
sorry to switch the topic like this, but those of you who know more about video-making than i do, anyone care to say anything?

Na Rob, i share the same annoyance at alot of annotations on screen at once. I had 3 at the beginning but i quickly got 2 off. I keep the top one on the whole time just to get the message across...
Don't worry about it, perhaps in the future I'll cut down on annotations on screen at once.
I don't use annotations either, I prefer to have all the important info in the desicription. I film it widescreen so in my multiplayer videos the links for other videos and my PSN fit nicely at the top.

Arrrogance's attempt on the PC looked very intuitive yet aggressive as well. That ledge catch>assassinate was really smooth.
