This is probably the video that showed me how free you could actually be in Assassin's Creed 1, and Assassin's Creed as a whole. Some of the movements of agility, the stunts, and the daring, calm stealth of standing right beside someone without them realizing were pretty mindblowing at the time, and even right now. Honestly at times it's straight-up breathtaking and definitely something that had me discover this badass community.
THB never had like, a "trailer," but I kind of ended up treating that vid like one. A really freaking cool one.
Rewatching it right now makes me wish even more for a graphically-enhanced full Remaster of Assassin's Creed 1 so we could show a new generation of AC fans where it all started in a more appealing way. And so we could revisit those days, a little crisper, a little updated and more immersive, like we probably remembered the first game being our first time through.
