Actually, it's only available in black. If you try dyeing it, nothing happens. 
Haha, I just realized that when I tried getting dyed a different color. I was black before so I assumed...anyhow...it's awesome.
But the new armor that unlocks is slightly better or equal to Altair's so if I want different colors at least I don't have to sacrifice for them. (Even though the black is still hot)

It has the same stats as Altair's armor, but it still breaks. Altair's never breaks, thus never needs to be repaired.
hehe yup Altair was one crafty guy after the 9 assassinations xP
I love how this game keeps referring back to Altair. It gives those who haven't played AC yet incentive to play it and the rest of us that have a deeper understanding a greater respect..(if you choose to so delve that deep into the game)
