Assassins Creed Memory Block 1
Early Death

The first and perhaps only time you see Abbas in the first Assassins Creed. The first time you enter the Masyaf fortress, Altair is greeted by the assassin Abbas. After the scene, Abbas leans against the wall, but you can prevent that by gentle pushing fast enough (you have a small window of opportunity before he cannot be moved). Continue gentle pushing to prevent him from going into the unmovable leaning position and he may fall through the floor.

To prove that Abbas was really killed, I had Altair jump off the map. You catch a faint glimpse of him on your way down, although the body disappears part way through. I haven't done much testing on how far Abbas can be moved, so it's unsure whether you can get him out of the fortress for a normal stabbing.

Assassins Creed Revelations Sequence 5 Memory 7
Occupational Hazard

In A New Regime memory, Altair and Maria have a dispute with Abbas over the execution of their son. Now here's a little something. There is a brief moment before the scene starts that Altair has access to all his high profile abilities. And Maria just so happens to not be invincible. Evil But don't worry; she can take care of herself. Or not. Since the moment is so brief, you barely start an assassination before the scene, which usually leaves no evidence of death. Which is why I had to do that high profile kill, leaving a visible bloodstain.

I also tried killing Abbas this way, but he appears to have unlimited health.

Assassins Creed Revelations Sequence 6 Memory 7
Botched Assassination

In The Mentor's Return, Abbas breathes his last breath. Time to assassinate, although in a fairly scripted manner. Surely we can mess things up instead? But first some more fun. Altair can't run, but you can move him faster than he can walk by throwing punches. With that speed you can reach an assassin guard before he's ledge assassinate or during. And you know that assassin who welcomes you by the fortress gate? Get there fast enough and you can really show him your wisdom. Wink If it's timed right he'll get up like nothing has happened (I think you have to start the animation about the time you lose the lock on him).

Now to unscript the assassination. You have a hidden gun with one bullet. After a scene you can only stand there and shoot. But what if you grab a cowardly assassin guard and throw him in the way? You end up with no way to finish the memory without restarting the checkpoint.

Sorry that it's hard to see Abbas drowned (the quality is a little clearer when watching on the dvd recorder). And if you're wondering about what's up with the aspect ratio, I set the picture size on the tv to make the recordings fullscreen, but they came out like that on the computer. Will have to fiddle around with that some more. I used a different tv for AC and ACR, which explains why they're different picture sizes.
