Anybody read this book? I'm guessing ROB would have, considering it's a Swedish book. It's one of the most refreshing and original series I've read in a very long time. I'm almost done with the second book.

oh, i just googled it. and i recognise the swedish title for it, but i've never read it.
i know there is a swedish-made movie on it, and if i'm not mistaken an american remake is in progress, but i haven't really bothered with looking it up.
i still don't know what it's really about

I've heard that the Swedish title translates as "Men Who Hate Women".

I just saw the movie (with English subtitles) on Monday. Five stars - if you can stomach the "men hating women" scenes. It's the first of a trilogy, so there are three books and three movies. The first book is an international best seller. On a recent vacation I noticed several people reading it poolside. The American film adaptation is scheduled for release on December 21, 2011.

I don't want to give too much away. It's a gritty murder mystery so you have your usual collection of murderers, rapists, etc.

Fantastic book series, and movie. Haven't seen the second or third movies, though. On the third book.

My sister absolutely loves these books. The films look quite good too. She reckons I'll like them so I might read them if I get round to it Smile

Is it about the Millenium trilogy? (Can't be bothered to check Google. Tongue)

I haven't seen it yet, but one of my friends did. He loved it. He said it's really well done, but there are two rape scenes that are hard to watch.

The Templars were framed.
