This is an overview I created of general stealth mechanics and mindsets players have access to in the first few hours of Ghost of Tsushima. Since this game is somewhat adjacent to Assassin's Creed in terms of overall fantasy, I figured the kinds of people who browse this site may be interested in a look at what's possible early on. So far, I like Ghost of Tsushima a lot. It has a fairly high degree of creativity and player-expressiveness available, which reminds me of some other games we really like.
Timestamps are in the progress bar and in the description.
There is a text version of this guide available here (it's not pay-gated, I just like the site's formatting):

Finally a third person stealth assassination game that lets you perform actions in midair. The standoff mechanic looks pretty cool too; as a former LARPer I can say it's realistic. Some people are that good at getting past a block, or maybe I just suck.
You actually make me want to play the game now, but first I want to get through all of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. I had that game shared on Steam, but I stopped playing after the world opened up because I didn't know where to go. Once again, I suck.
I almost want to make Ghost of Tsushima the new "AC" for us to make videos out of. The mechanics are great for it and invite the player to utilize many different tactics whenever they want. It reminds me of the classic Assassin's Creed games and how we were inspired to dissect the game in order to find new ways to play.
I would be completely fine with this.
