Frontier and Trading Posts
I don't believe I've found any Trading Posts in the Frontier. One of the Frontiersmen challenges requires me to find all of them. So firstly, I'd like to ask if anyone knows what they are?
Second, do you know if the White Marker quests show up on the map yet? Or if it's been patched or anything?
Lastly, I don't know how to unlock shops either in cities or in the Frontier, and I can't send a convoy to the Frontier because of it. One of the Trophies requires this. Another trophy I'm trying to get is Coureur du Bois, which requires trading undamaged pelts to all general stores. I believe I've done that, but it didn't unlock after I finished.
Any words on this?
You unlock shops by liberating the area they're in. I'm not sure if you need to in the frontier though. Pretty sure there is only one shop in the frontier, and I think it's by the only legit classic icon fast travel station.
Some shops in the towns also need to be 'discovered' by moving close enough that they appear on your compass mini-map. When I was running around filling out the map in Boston post-game, things were still popping up for me for the first time despite having liberated every area while still playing the main story.
What about Frontier Trading Posts? One of the Frontiersmen challenges requires me to find every one. Are they the same as shops/does anyone know what they actually are/what to look for?
I haven't got a clue. I figured they'd be like in the E3 demo, but I've never seen anything of the sort in the game. I can only assume it means the general stores in the frontier. You almost have to walk right up to their door to 'discover' them. Pain in the ass.
EDIT: It is indeed finding all three of the general stores in the frontier. I just got this a little while ago. I believe you have to actually enter each one for it to count.
