Francesco - Preassassination

Before starting the cutscene, into the visible range of Bernardo, the system will allow freely actions for Ezio. Bernardo will flee from the scene when he detected Ezio, Then he can not be attacked.
Francesco able to detect and react to the corpses or fury, it will result desynchronization when he finds you. You can use the Air Assassinationon from a height. What is interesting here, he would escape after the end of cutscene. I have other video able to support the theory of "killing instantly in the cutscene can usually to prevent targets try to reborn". At least in the Ezio Trilogy.
This is a strange mechanism, I can stab him from a height, but I can not kill him with throwing knife. If the designer wants to avoid he was killed, the Air Assassination Could it a loophole?
Looks good!
Thank you for this finding! =3
It can not be useful though, since preparing the air assassination would be much slower than throwing 2 knives + deflecting a hit.

About the "looks". Guess what, Lorenzo looks like a public figure in my country. And if I could choose it in AC2, I think I will not going to rescue him.

You're right, I actually forgot Francesco did not have much health. Anyway, I have did a simple test, throwing knife no doubt is the fastest, Air Assassination the only advantage is just save two, maybe three knives.
The actual test:

So that you have enough to kill all targets right after the cutscene... You can also grab them and cut their throat quickly. All in all, I'd rather keep the original method.
Nice you can have high profile actions during this. There may be another chance for an Early Death. Since he runs away after you fight him, what if you led him to a nearby rooftop right before the scene with Lorenzo? If Francesco doesn't disappear you may be able to get to him before he runs out of sight and throw him into water. I would try this myself, but the save file I have before this is at the Vieri assassination.

Yes, I have tried that, but unfortunately, Francesco can't seem to be attacked, he just ran away and we can't stop him, or too far away from Lorenzo. I wish you will find a way to make his early death, good luck aurll. (How about let girls to stop him again? )
Oh yah, I have tried to escape from Talal's warehouse, I also can't find the way to kill him, such as let guards to beat him or throw him to the street vendors, those are do not work, that's really frustrating.
As a target I like Talal a lot actually. It's an interesting blitz kill. That reminds me, I should get the WR for Al Mualim sometime.
He's not a lot of fun to mess around with though.

So you think you can beat my superfast blitz?(sarcasm) But speaking of beating blitzes, I'm surprised no one has noticed this.

I meant the non-cheating WR, because glitching is literally cheating.
That's a new WR?
Never really paid any attention to that blitz as the only way to do it faster is a preassassination, really.

Depends on your definition of cheating. With the William blitz and other following superfast blitzes they were considered valid because the technique involved getting to the target earlier then expected (so if you go by what you're supposed to have done in the mission, then yes it's cheating). When blitzes were documented it was decided that previously killing or scaring characters gave you an advantage too soon. Of course, exploits during the cutscene weren't existent then.

Compare it to the current record.

So you want an Early Death on Robert in Arsuf? Bene, I can do that.

I never counted frames of animation on your blitz. What time are you claiming?
If I remember correctly just a little over .2 seconds. But it was a while ago I counted the frames.
EDIT: Just noticed your blitz is considered exposed even though the SSI says you're anonymous when the camera angle changes. Any reason why that is so?
