He talks about making the game less linear and how you should allow players to have their own playground. I like this guy, but I'll wait until we get an update on social stealth.
Not to be a jerk, but I kinda already made a thread on this. I think you even commented in it, lol.
Oh geez, I suck.
Nah, it's late. (at least where I am) You can make mistakes.
You can just re-title this thread to something like "AC3 to focus on freedom again" or something. Easy fix!
Haha, thanks Joey.
Social Stealth always intrigued me.. Especially in Brotherhood. How was it possible to blend in a crowd of normal citizens when i'm wearing a full white-shiny robes, with a sword, a dagger, a crossbow on my back and being the only one with a Hood ? This always made me enjoy a little less all the AC Games.. Hopefully they'll do a new and better Social Stealth mechanics..
I want to be forced to pick few weapons for a mission/free-roaming, so that they are more easily concealable. I want to be able to quickly duck into a coffee shop and order a latte, or read a newspaper as guards walk unsuspectingly by. Go into a park and play soccer with some random kids or get a ball down from a roof for someone. As part of Social Stealth, that is, not side missions. That would be cool.
Go into a park and play soccer with some random kids...
I wonder if the Revolutionary War was really about what to call this sport. It probably just escalated WAY too much...
How is it that Altair and Ezio can survive a 50 foot drop WITHOUT rolling and still not crack their legs?
How is it that Ezio can parkour while wearing heavy armor and move at the exact same speed when he's not wearing any?
How is it that Ezio's/Altair's hood always remain upright and never hinders their field of vision?
It's a video-game. Somethings are just not meant to be taken seriously...
Alright but add an Extreme mode or SOMETHING for the hardcores. Please. It's not like I'm taking the game seriously, it's that it's not taking itself seriously either sometimes. Well, so far. I can't speak for ACIII. But please make it a little harder. Doesn't have to be butt-crunchingly difficult, but at least make it so that I can't 100% the ENTIRE GAME in a DAY (coughRevelationscough)
Won't that have to work with the Animus 3.0 interface?
It will, which is why there's lots of opportunity now
The Animus 3.0 Interface is completely different so we should be able to get some cool new stuff, Ubisoft willing.
Logical, right?
Doesn't have to be butt-crunchingly difficult...
Because when I get stressed as hell, my butt gets crunchy. It's an awful feeling...
Tell me about it :/
if you think this is not possible the ac games are like how Desmond experiences it that why for multiplayer they made a story so it is more real not just a game extra so think of Desmond point of view would he change the difficulty higher if he had too save the world, so i would like to see a difficulty but it is not logical for Desmond to make it harder for himself if he has to save the world maybe after ac 3 they could make the story that the animus is now a training program for new recruits then it would be logical to have a difficulty i still hope they make it more harder 100 pro cent in revelations was too dam easy.

sorry
lol!@-One above. I also think they could have better social stealth. The main bother to me about these stealthy assassins is that they love white way too damn much. And I don't think it would be that hard to fix the lazy hiding mechanics they have in the series. granted, not getting hurt from a 50 foot drop is wierd, but when you play as a roof-hopping sky-diving killer, you're gunna get sick of losing all your health.
Just as when you're a "blade in the crowd" you dont want to be the complementary colour to everything around you and just have guards basically look the other way, you want to know that you'll blend because the brownish-grey drab around you matches the brownish-grey drab you have on. (But I get it, who wants little Batmen to blend when they could look so awesome all the time?)
