1. THE RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

I think The Green Hornet is a pretty good film too (not in my top 5 but still). It got some pretty poor reviews but I really enjoyed it. One of the main criticisms was that it couldn't decide whether it was a comedy or a serious superhero film. I'd have to agree with this but I actually thought that made it quite interesting. Although it wasn't exactly a lough-out-loud comedy, I liked the lightheartedness and slightly comical violence, combined with a few cool gadgets and guns Smile

Yeah! Green Hornet was amazing! This is why I don't listen to critics anymore. They're all TOO picky and only focus on the negative parts.

Yes, Joey! It wasn't exactly The Dark Knight but taken as a decent, fun action film it was, on the whole, pretty darn good Laughing out loud

Double Indemnity - A classic noir film. Great story telling and its liberal use of Venetian blinds.
King Kong (1933) - A breakthrough is special affects.
Aliens - Established a physically strong female character that can kick some alien ass.
Inception - One of the smartest and most intelligent films I've seen in a long time.
Spirited Away - Japanese version of Alice in Wonderland.
Ratatouille - Excellent pacing. Subtle mature themes (discrimination of what you are).
The Shining - Made me afraid of twins 'till this day.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - Excellent choreography.
District B13 - A film that feature parkour. Do I need to elaborate any further?

This is all I can think of right now...

I'll be back!

The first installment of the reboot is very different, Rob, just be aware of that. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it though - well worth a watch.

Well it was designed as a reboot so I presume thay plan to continue the new story. The ending sets up the possibility of a sequel and, according to Wikipedia, they are planning/hoping on some sort of continuation.

They left it open for one at the end. And if they've expressed interest, I'm sure they'll whip something out. It's always possible.

1. Tombstone
2-5. The Last Samuri (even though I despise Tom Cruise), The Lord of the Rings (I count them as one very long movie), Braveheart, and The Boondock Saints
6. Dumb & Dumber
85,256,412. 12 Monkeys (quite possibly one of the most ridiculous movies I've ever seen).

I've been hoping for years now that Sandler would quit acting and just focus on the production side of the film industry. His movies just keep getting worse and worse. I swear he needs at least one person in his group that will stand up and say "Adam, that's a horseshit script and you have no business even entertaining the idea of going through with this."
