I haven't been a very big fan of Ubisoft lately. After turning Prince of Persia into a fairy tale, then canceling the potentially epic survival game based in Chicago "I Am Alive," and THEN nearly ruining Assassin's Creed for me with the abomination of Brotherhood, I was ready to disown Ubisoft all together.
That is, until today.
They're on the path to redemption. Maybe they're killing Assassin's Creed, but there's another extremely underrated series of theirs that looks like it could potentially explode onto the scene with this next installment. The first two games were absolutely incredible experiences, and this one looks to be even better than the first two combined.
Far Cry is back, and it's better than it's ever been.
Don't believe me? Just watch as Jason pulls off some wicked Assassins Creed moves, then proceeds to blow up the entire place with an AK:
Anyone else excited?
That looks absolutely epic. I love Far Cry 2 - it was the second PS3 game I got and I just played it for hours and hours. Can't wait for this!
they cancelled I Am Alive?
but...but that was the one game they had that still had potential to be awesome.
was it due to the Japan-thing?
never cared about FarCry, but that dudes eyes look wrong
New gameplay trailer:
Somehow I'm going to have to find the money to preorder ACIII and now Far Cry 3. It's a good job it's my 18th birthday in August!
I'm still pumped for this, and as it gets closer I have more and more questions, typical.. I really like the "stealth?" in this one, or so it seems. can anyone answer me on whether or not farcry (1,2,3) have considerable stealth, or the freedom to take out a platoon with a knife and some sneaking? This is why I want it mainly.
(remain undetected)
Any responses apreciated!
