Firstly I would like to give credit to IanXO4 for his discovery of hyperblending, which allowed this video to be possible.
My first method was going to be the usual, kill all guards without him noticing using mercenaries and finish the target last. However this was way too easy and boring, I decided to try just to take out the target without being seen at all.
The first clip shows me using hyperblending to get very close and kill him with the blade. Notice as soon as he dies the guards that aren't normally there dissapear, so I am safe. However for some reason they spot me for a split second and search hiding spots, and for some funny/sick reason they kill the courtesans.
My next clip solves this little problem, simply take him out from afar with either throwing knives or the pistol. Make sure no patroling guards are nearby as they wont disappear. However you will probably get arrows above their heads, so neither clip is "perfect"
My restrictions for this playlist still follows, full notoriety, never sighted and minimum armor ( kinda pointless if you aren't seen)
Goal for Ian: Kill him using only poisen without killing or alerting anyone else. Hyperblending will probably be a must, it seems impossible but I dont want to call it impossible just yet.
nicely done. i superblended on this mission from the water, starting near the herald. the game tries to force you to be Exposed when you enter the covered area, but you remain hidden (blue minimap border) due to super/hyperblending. since you hired the courtesans, the guards recognize them as your allies when you become "Exposed" and attack them. funny thing is that the girls typically pull out little daggers and try to defend themselves. (i think id run away instead.)
i dont think its possible to enter the covered area without a change in status to at least hidden (blue border) due to the way the level is designed. i'll try to come up with a different strategy.
I cant really see a way in there, unless you bend your rules and let the girls distract the guards, you are still undetected I guess. I did a Mysterious Death on Peackeeper for the fun of it, poisoned all 10 guards without them seeing you is funny, especially when you add money into the mix, but i wont be re recording them
i was wrong. the reason for the blue ring is that guard posts in general have a "proximity sensor" that goes off if you approach while super/hyperblended. this was apparent in my vid for the mysterious death of salviati. thats good news, because that means you are not automatically exposed when you go into the guarded covered area. you can breach the perimeter by tossing coins, which distracts the guards. i think you should be able to poison the target and then leave... leading to a mysterious death. i'll try this tonight.
the coin toss was successful... another mysterious death. want me to post?
Sure. I have to rent the EU version of AC2 so i can get 100% synch ( wrong DLC region) When i do il be doing a new playlist of mysterious deaths for assassination contracts, so any info would be great. Not too sure about Hunting the Hunter yet, I can kill the bounty hunter without the guards spawning but poisening him is a different problem, if i go into a standing position his guards spawn. Maybe i could lure him to a spot where his guards cant spawn
