There is a way to enter the Fort without using the entrance on the back or waiting for the caravan. The guards in front of it will only call alert if you move too close crossing a certain line. Thanks to some invisible virtual wall you can get pass this line by climbing the wall and thus popping 1 meter to the front just without having the guards notice you.
To make it easy to find I recorded a video:

Hey, mees. Thanks for joining The Hidden Blade. Perhaps you'd like to introduce yourself.
The other two speedrunners here are Fed981 and 161803398874989 (a.k.a. Phi). Fed has completed speedruns of AC2 and Revelations. Now he's working on a full sync speedrun of AC2. Phi has been planning a speedrun of AC1 for some time.
I don't believe anyone here is working on AC3. Maybe you'd like to give it a shot?
Hum... you forgot my ACB any% run as well as The Lost Archive, and The Da Vinci Disappearance.
That is an incredible video, thank you so much for bringing it to us
As for speedruns, I'm currently routing AC4 because I think it has a lot of potential.
I figured out a few exploits to mess with AI in Restricted Areas that allows you to pass in front of them undetected, but it's not final so I need to test a bit more to make sure it's all fine before I fully write about it.
I miss Haytham as the animus protagonist.
Hey DaZ, I have a solid glitch for speedrunning in getting the jackdaw. I'll try and make a video on sunday.

That's awesome, Phi! Looking forward to checking it out. Do you know about Whistle Trick? I'll just CopyPaste what I wrote in Jack's thread over here;
Not sure if you've heard of Whistle Trick (or if the rest of THB has, even) but it might help you. I discovered this accidentally a while ago.When you Whistle out of a Stalking Zone (or any hiding spot, but Stalking Zones are the best because you can exit them the quickest) and a nearby guard hears it, he'll go into a 0.5~ish-second long animation where he looks around for a bit (his "What Was That Noise?" animation). During those 0.5 seconds, you can pass right in front of his face and his SSI won't trigger at all. Even in Restricted Areas, where being in Line of Sight at all = instant Desynch, you can just sprint right in front of them. It's a very tight time window, but it is practical in some situations (namely, I use it a lot in my run of "Nothing Is True...")
I'll put up a video soon. Won't be the greatest quality, but it should showcase exactly what I'm talking about.
Thx for the positive feedback! I am working on a speedrun and will hopefully be able to get it up here some way. Unfortunately I can not upload utube videos of such a large size, do you have some archive to upload to ?
In case you're wondering about that video I was going to make: I figured out the exact trigger for the glitch to happen, and unfortunately it's not useful. I'll make a silent extermination video of the mission though.
