It's finally here, people! The third video in the currently fastest assassinations in Assassins Creed.
Blitz times:
Tamir - .6 seconds
Garnier de Naplouse - 2.93 seconds
Talal - 22.3 seconds
Abu'l Nuqoud - 7.27 seconds
Majd Addin - less than 4 seconds
William of Montferrat - less than .2 seconds
Jubair al Hakim - less than .2 seconds
Sibrand - 21.20
Maria - less than .2 seconds
Robert de Sable - .2 seconds
Al Mualim - less than .2 seconds
For those who aren't familiar with how theses runs are timed it starts with Altair being able to move freely and ends with the kill. During a cutscene Altair can only walk around. The run starts at the first frame of free movement. There are two indications of when he has access to all his regular actions, whichever comes first:
1. A white flash at the end of a cutscene.
2. HUD appears (minimap, weapon icon, button actions, health bar and social status indicator).
On a reload the first frame of movement is the start (doesn't count if movement is intentionally delayed).
When performing high profile assassinations in the game, the camera changes dramatically to make the kill more cinematic. It's the first frame of this that's counted as the end of the run.

This is unreal! Nice job. It's great to see all of these blitzes in succession. William's is my favorite.
BTW the annotations in the Abul Bloopers video mention details in the description but there's nothing in the description.

Which reminds me, I had planned to put details in the description but forgot to in the rush to get the videos out. Done.
Many thanks to Ian for allowing me to use his blitzes that I couldn't beat, otherwise this project would have been delayed by more months. I guess you can say he came out of retirement for about twenty four seconds.
Star Wars theme? Bold choice. I'm sure the Disney Lawyers won't mind.
Good work on this. I know it's been a long time coming.
That was so damn cool. I loved the creativity present in getting so close to William of Montferrat's position to kill him instantly. Absolute madness.
This video came out even better than I expected. Two of the blitzes have never been seen on The Hidden Blade before:
Aurel says he tried about 300 time to air assassinate Abu'l from the railing. I hope that most of those attempts were practice runs from a reload. The final blitz was from the cutscene, which takes about 10 minutes to set up each time.
The other new blitz was Majd Addin. It's an improvement to Phi's earlier video Two Blitzes on Majd.
Great work, guys!
Glad you guys liked how it turned out. I'm a lot more critical of my videos as of late. First time I published the video, each assassination was cut off when the memory corridor started loading, which was too abrupt (pretty much in the middle of the kill animation). So I reedited it to cut out when the screen is fully faded. It's too bad some parts had to be made a little too long or short to fit in with the music, most noticeably the Jubair blitz.

Six minutes actually, and yes, most of those times were from the cutscene. Roughly thirty hours of gameplay, on and off for a few months.

I have two copyright claims on the video, for both songs used. The only restriction is I won't be the one who gets money from any ads on the video, but since it's two different companies making a copyright claim on the same video, it results in copyright deadlock, preventing them from making any money on it either.
That blitz is actually in the thread on the two blitzes already, Stabguy!
Very grateful to have been a part of this, the video came out great!
Goddamn still ticken Aurel. Gunna watch this now.
Have to admit I'm not quite satisfied with the editing (some setups were too long or short), so I made another version:
