ive heard a few mentions that the economic system in acr is more challenging than in acb, so id like to hear any special tricks that ppl have for making money. selling bomb ingredients seems to work well, but it takes a while to accumlulate. is there an easy memory for quickly collecting bomb ingredients for profit?
i think i found a decent way to make some easy money. manuel palaiologos carries over 2000 bucks on him, and you can counter steal this off of him in battle. the memory is short, and its easy to replay. and as a bonus, you can use a broken timeline exploit to double your return. you fail full sync if you take damage, so you just counter steal and then let him kill you (or similar). by taking damage, the 2000+ that you stole is recorded. when the mission reloads, you can counter steal from him again, and then kill him. the memory ends with you 4000+ richer in just a few min.
any other ideas?
If only they had Hazard, I managed to make so much money off that in ACB by doubling my money.
I guess every chance you get you could send assassins on high paying missions overseas, you could probably work out a way to send one level 10 assassin to each mission. Some will die if the risk isnt high enough to support one person which makes it kind of interesting. PHI could probably write some mathematical function to find which combination of risk and payoff could give us a robust method of getting money.
Makes it more interesting than just sending loads of assassins on one mission at 100%, may as well send less at 80%.
You would also have to factor in time spent on the mission to speed up the process... could be kinda complicated.
I've been trying to look for ways to gain money effectively. So far, I just found that buying as many shops as possible, selling bomb ingredients and the hardest Assassin missions have a good deal of income associated with them along with money returns once they're completed. I only have 2 books left in Cappadocia and I've bought everything else that you can buy (landmarks, shops) to give me income. I'll give them credit where it's due. When we said it was too easy, they fixed that well.
1) Acquire cities in Mediterranean Defense.
2) Acquire bomb ingredients from cities.
3) Sell bomb ingredients.
4) Profit!
Just got the Fast Fingers achievement. Just walk through the Grand Bazaar place with a group of thieves and you'll get so much money in minutes. I was able to boost my income greatly to get the final book for the Sage achievement.
Fast Fingers is looting 50 Dead Guards through Thief Looting right? I don't understand that achievement, could you explain it to me?
I think you have to complete one of the Thief faction challenge groups to get the ability. Basically, you hire a group of Thieves, kill guards, and after they go limp, they crouch and grab any money/items the dead guards have. It's pretty easy. Just make sure the thieves around the city are close to guards, otherwise you'll be running around a lot only killing gunmen on rooftops one at a time.
heres another trick thats fast. each time you walk into piri reis's room, the bomb crafting table grants you 3 impact shells, 3 phosphorus, and 3 arabic powders, worth a grand total of 1845 akce. collect these and then leave the room, only to immediately return and repeat. each cycle takes about 30 seconds, so after 4 minutes, you'll have nearly 15,000 akce's worth of ingredients to sell back to piri, who happens to be right there.

I started doing this but after a couple minutes running around the streets silently killing gaurds i started to get bored. I tried using poison bombs but the theives don't loot the gaurds when you do that, i geuss they have to SEE you kill them.
Hm, I was able to run far ahead and double assassinate 4 guards (one pair at a time, obviously) and kill a few others while the thieves were still on top of buildings behind me. You sometimes have to wait a few seconds for them to react to the next body.
I just got it now, geuss it doesn't take as long as i thought it would.
