Doctor Who!
The new series starts tomorrow, and I'm excited 
Anyone else a fan?
I will be missing the first episode tomorrow as I'm going to Lourdes for the week but I'll be sure to catch up.
I used to love Doctor Who but stopped watching it towards the end of David Tennant's final series. I saw the odd episode of the last series but I really want to get back into it 
Ah, Matt Smith is so much better than Tennant, you'll enjoy it. You should check out the last two episodes of Series 5 though, Silence Will Fall is a two year ark.
Yeah I liked Tennant at first but he soon became a bit boring. Eccleston was great before him. From what I've seen of Matt Smith, he's pretty good and I really like Karen Gillan too 
Ok, I will do. I saw a couple of the earlier episodes of Series 5 but in one of the later ones I had very little idea of what was going on

The Silence genuinely frighten me and 'The Doctor's Wife' episode was such a clever idea!
This weeks episode looks really cool. It'll be interesting to see what scares The Doctor so much 
The last few episodes in this series have been really good, if a little similar. I love the fact that, throughout this series, psychology has primarily been used to create fear and suspense in both the character and the viewer, rather than the traditional monsters that Russell T Davies seemed to favour.
'Night Terrors', 'The Girl Who Waited' and 'The God Complex' have all followed in this vein but I feel that they have been a little too alike (although they've all been great episodes); each one has involved main characters being stuck in a dangerous/nightmare world before being rescued by the Doctor in some way. This is obviously a common theme throughout the long history of Doctor Who but 3 similar episodes in a row has just been a bit too much, IMO.
I have enjoyed them all but I'm glad the next episode is completely different. James Corden (a Briitsh comedian of Gavin and Stacey fame) and the Cybermen both make an appearance! 
I used to watch it all the time when David Tennant was the Doctor, bur after he left I stopped watching. I knew it wouldn't be the same. He did an awesome job.
David Tennant was great but I recommend you watch at least a few of the Matt Smith episodes (especially the ones written by Steven Moffat); he's brilliant, honestly 
Hmm, okay. I might give it a go. It's just, so much has changed. The logo and everything. Makes me miss the older ones.
I must admit, I was very annoyed when they changed the logo and I didn't really like Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) at first, but I really like her now and the logo just doesn't bother me
Don't feel you have to watch it just because I've said you should! I'm just glad someone else wants to discuss it at all
People have said it's good. I haven't given Smith a chance. I stopes watching right after Tennant's last episode. I might watch some clips or something.
