It looks similar to AC play style (+magic) from what little they are saying between the website and the Article. It isn't 100% open world within the game, but they say that there is a wide breadth of possibilities within the missions themselves, as well as possible side missions.
You got your stealth capabilities and your "slaughter 'em all" capabilities, and everything in between. I'm sure this is a game to watch to see where it goes.
Looks awesome! I will definitely be following this.
Fantastic!
Is this first-person or third-person? It looked like one of the screenshots was fp. Still interesting.

It is supposed to be First Person combat and movement.
Hmm, perhaps a contender to Deus Ex title of "Best game you can't really categorize ever"?
I'm looking forward to this but I've noticed that some titles published by Bethesda first fill my heart with joy and hope only to dissapoint me because they were not only they were as good as they could have been, but had mixed to bad reviews which doesn't really matter, but nor does it speak really good of the game. Like WET, Hunted, or Brink.
Still, interesting.
Lol Brink was such a horrible game hahaha.
BRINK looked absolutely brilliant - I loved the concept and artistic style but it just failed terribly. I haven't even played the game but, by the sounds of it, it's awful and I don't plan to play it any time soon.
I was never that excited for Brink. I liked the style as well, but after seeing the military team-based gameplay at the beginning being very different from the first trailer I saw, I thought it wouldn't be worth the hype.
i was a little intrigued at first. the mythology of the island thing sounded interesting when i thought it might be like Bioshock before the main character gets there and no Little Sisters, plus running around on the walls.
but then i realised it was just another multiplayer game with no story at all, and the parkour was nothing more than normal jumping
