After seeing the desmond screenshots. It looks to as if desmond is actually doing the killing instead of reliving it. And it also seems he is recruiting assassins. So how would he find time to venture back off in the animus

Its been hyped that hes learned everything he needs from ezio and altair.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

Desmond doing the killing? Killing what? Abstergo agents? Link, please?

And I'm pretty sure that Connor is Desmond's ancestor...

EA (nice to see you back), did you mean that perhaps it's not Desmond reliving in the animus this time? Perhaps someone else is and Desmond is observing and acting upon the observations?

If so, intriguing idea!

No, Connor is Desmond's ancestor, but Desmond will have missions in between animus sessions. There was a screen of him above a wrestling ring.

So he'll finally be wearing his hoodie - symbolically making him a true assassin out in the field.

Beautiful...

Connor is Desmond's Ancestor. In addition, Desmond has Templar ancestors as well. Desmond does do a fair bit of killing outside of the Animus. He meets Daniel Cross as well. Desmond's missions this time around are HUGE and if you liked Desmond's gameplay before, you're gonna love it now.

Not sure about Desmond recruiting people of his own, but Connor does do a lot of that as well.

And Desmond is again, the one in the Animus. The Bleeding Effect hits him near the beginning of the game and they decide to get him in so that they don't "lose the memory." sort of.

Yeah, I've never heard about Desmond recruiting people or anything. And of course Connor is his ancestor. Silly noodle...

I wish I had a capture card so I could put the Stadium mission on YouTube Sad
Should I get my brother to record it with his iPhone and show you guys?

It's only a week until release... that's all I need to whet my appetite.

But if you want to, sure. Tongue

I'm just excited to finally see Desmond's hood up!! I've been waiting for that ever since Assassin's Creed! For me the connection was early on in the game (maybe the 3rd session) when I noticed that Desmond's hoodie looked comfortable, and obviously that it was white.
Through learning that he's reliving ancestral memories, and the odd desicion to make assassins colours white (I think that's kind of flashy) It just made me really delve into the "Assassin's of an age" angle of the story. I really like the idea of various assassins with modifications always happeneing, different cultured assassins, difference in apparel, you guys know what I mean.
They have alot to offer. But I've been waiting for the modern "2012 Assassin" to reveal for...well I guess it's been about 5 years now! Worth the wait, I hope.

Definitely worth the wait. You feel really cool/sneaky playing as Desmond. It's kinda the same feeling you get when you're hiding from your friends in Hide and Seek. Not quite adrenaline, but this awesome nervousness. Also Desmond's story is creepy now. Like, I actually am afraid. A certain person starts sending you e-mails with threats and over time you realize they are not of this world.. I don't know who they are yet, hasn't been revealed yet, but even if I did, I wouldn't tell you.
