In this video I did a ghost run of the assassination that is the objective of the Concubine Contract.

The video is relatively straight forward. At the start of the video I get close to the target to "mark" him. This makes it easier later on (I am also 90 oercent sure it is required for the long distance kills).

FYI this isn't my too record for distance kills. It currently stands at 93M.

Hope you enjoy the video.

That's pretty cool. I'm new to Mirage and haven't experimented much with Throwing Knives. Several questions come to mind:

When it comes to marking the target, would Enkidu be able to do the job if it were out in the open?
In order to achieve 93M did you choose the "Extended Range" upgrade to throwing knives?
IanXO4 found that AC1/AC2 throwing knives had greater range (but limited aim) when no target was selected. What can you tell us about "freestyle" throwing knives in Mirage?

You won't even feel the blade.

Yes, Enkidu can definitely be used for marking. I couldn't use him for this contract because there is a marksman in the area.

For both this video and the 93M (that was on the 1st assination target) i was using the Extended range upgrade. I haven't tested the range of the throwing knives without this upgrade.

As far as I know it isn't possible to throw knives without aiming (pressing L2 on PS).
What I have observed so far regarding aiming throwing knives:
- The target indicator of aiming does have a pretty long range. In my experience the aiming system will indicate a target up to a range of ~100M.
- In my experience, when aiming without having a target indicated then the throwing knive will have no effect. I have only tested this with ranges >100M.
- I mentioned that I mark the targets before throwing the knives. If I then move beyond the 100M distanxe this target indicator dissapears (until I move back into range). This leads me to believe that the NPC's become "inactive" when the distance is greater than 100M.
- The aiming target indicator does distinguish between body and head shots, I think. As you can see in my video; I am moving the aiming cursor around until it shrinks slightly. In my experience this indicates a headshot and it usially kills the target in 1 hit.

93M is pretty impressive. Too bad the civilians had to witness that.

It was a bit dissapointing to see I had gained notoriety and the civilians reacted, since I'm on a high wall and the target itself is 84M away haha.

But I think this counts as a ghost run right? Can't be bothered to record another try at least Tongue

Cannot remember if civilians have an effect on ghost run rules. Maybe as an added challenge. I love how these restricted areas have a sandboxy feel. With all the tools and abilities at your disposal they remind me of the challenge maps from the Arkham games.
