http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9MQ1Z6QSME what the title said lol DISCUSS PEOPLE
this actually CONFIRMS what i said about connor having 2 hidden blades the creative director alex himself said so
I don't know that anyone was arguing he'd only have 1....
some were in doubt that's all lol
Watched this last night. It was fun.
They did a live replay of the Boston Demo, with some interesting mistakes, etc. It was worth watching to see the one guy that has played it extensively screw up in the battle in the market and lose some health. It was also good because we saw the weapon selector for the first time... and a Loyalist follows Conner on top of the roof, haha.
Some of the questions in the Q&A were terrible. Do people not think before they ask?
examples:
Q: Do you have this weird esoteric character that no one here except for my has heard of or cares about?
My A: STFU.
Hutch's A: *blank stare* who the fuck is that?
Q: Will there be any of subject 16's puzzles?
My A: No. Sub16 spent all his time in Renaissance Italy. Why on earth would he have left things in Colonial North America? Also, the animus searched for common ancestors, or at least ancestors with common time and place overlap between 16 and 17... is there ANY evidence that 16 would have spent ANY time in CNA?
Hutch's A: We didn't want to rehash things from old games just to have them there. So there are no 2D puzzles, etc, but there is a lot of other interesting things to tie up all the story lines.
Q: Why was the Revelation about Lucy in the DLC?
My A: Finally a good question! ... To make more money on something that should have been in the game.
Hutch's A: We like to use DLCs to explain things that we feel we didn't explain enough in the actual game. We wanted to expand on that a little bit. Also, we tie up some of those same things and touch on those ideas in AC3.
Q: We saw in one of the puzzles that George Washington has a POE. Will that be important to the story?
My A: No shit. Of course it will.
Hutch's A: I can't say. *spoiler*
Really dumb questions...
every question seriously made me want to break my laptop screen its always that irony of how come dumb asses who know NOTHING about ac get to see it before true fans get to see it.... annoys the crap out of me -_-
i wanted to know.
1. will you play as young Conner and how long?
2. how many sequences are there?
3. will the multiplayer of revelations be continued in ac3 or are you an whole new Templar?
4. how much % will you play as Desmond?
5.is eagle sence back or is it just eagle vision again?
6. will the desmond sequences be linear or will there be a little exploring to do.

With how cautious Hutch was being, I don't think those would have been answered... except for maybe #2... maybe.

1. Yes and just at the beginning of Connor's story. It will probably be used as the tutorial.
2. They said it was going to be a long game, so probably 10-13, I'm assuming.
3. Multiplayer is back, but we don't know what the story is.
4. A lot more than previous games. He'll actually be an Assassin doing Assassin-y things. He'll probably get his own sections in the main path (not just platforming and pulling levers).
5. Haven't heard anything about this whatsoever, but we can assume it's back in some form.
6. No word on this yet.

with the multiplayer i was talking about that you are the same Templar in brotherhood as in revelations but seeing the end of revelations are they saying you are now higher in abstergo or are you just somebody in the animus, wich would indicate no more abstergo secrets.
Actually, on why the lucy reveal was not in the game, some higherups decided to change the platforming puzzles to be about desmond and his story, and thry had to relegate the clay stuff to dlc. TLA was not really an attempt to make more money, in any major sense. It was barely promoted. I get the feeling it only came out after much fighting from ground floor developers.
