^Is that an artificial tree?
I had one, but 5 branches broke and there is no money to buy another, now what will I do with the decorations and the little electric train?

No. It's a fresh Noble Fir. Douglas and Noble Firs don't grow in Hawaii so they import cut Christmas trees from Oregon and Washington states every year. The only local evergreen is the Norfolk Pine. They're pretty sparse to use as a Christmas tree but will do in a pinch (as stabgal and I found out one year).

You won't even feel the blade.

You know, stab, I would figure you would have made an Altair doll and perched him on top of the tree in lieu of an angel, but I guess you're not as hardcore as I thought Cool

Somehow I don't think stabgal would've allowed that. Would've been cool as hell though.

My tree ^ Its a real tree, the pine needles are a real pine however, they are everywhere, Mum is endlessly hoovering them up. Also apologies for the daylight picture, but you can still see the tree anyway. Also, rather hard to see, we have a Santa at the top of our tree as opposed to an angel.

Thanks to SBIzokronus for the fantastic sig!

Thanks, you two. They're called "Vintage Disney" ornaments and we have four of them. I uploaded a photo here. They're mostly made of wood (in multiple layers) except for Minnie's leather tail and bell on a string. She's pictured in the original box, which says on the back:

This ornament is one of an exclusive Vintage Disney collection. These lovely, handcrafted ornaments are replicas of original dolls, toys, and books that were originally produced during the years 1928 - 1938.

Since Mickey Mouse's introduction in 1928, he has provided pleasure to people of all ages through the generations.

These are timeless collectibles, that represent both fun and fantasy.

Start your collection now and treasure these memorable, nostalgic Vintage Disney items through the years.

That may help you find some for yourselves. I think stabgal bought these at a Disney Store in the 1990's.

You won't even feel the blade.

Upload it somewhere, like on tinypic.com. Then copy the 'direct link' and put that instead of (LINKHERE):

Our new house has 10 foot ceilings so we got a 10 foot tall tree! This monster can hold every ornament we own.

You won't even feel the blade.
