A certain cape (spoilers ahead)
i collected all 100 feathers and maria gave me the cape ive worn it in each city and no achievement? does this happen to anyone else? or am i doing something wrong?
You need to visit all six main areas while equipped with the cape. Florence, Venice, Tuscany, Romagna, Monteriggioni and Apennine Mountains. You cannot fast-travel to the Apennine Mountains; ride there from Florence or Romagna.
You'll get the achivement while still in the loading screen while loading into the sixth area.

I found all but the last 15 or so on my own. I'm glad I didn't spend countless hours searching out those final ones, because some of them I would never have found. I have better things to do with my time. 
I already have maps done. I'm just waiting for Stab and Ian to finish their first pass through the game and then we'll put our heads together and see what kind of ideas we can come up with. I'm hoping we can do all the same sort of stuff they did for AC1 on AC Maps.

For me id chose the black one because i have nightowl eyes

It's sort of the same thing for me. I prefer darker colors on my computer screen.
That said, the popular choice is often the white because people always want printable versions. If we go with black for the site (or for AC Maps), I'll make sure the white are available for download for those who wish to print them.

I spliced together numerous screenshots and then applied some Photoshop effects and did a whole bunch of manual cleaning/adjusting from there. I kind of like how it turned out having a sort of pencil sketch effect.

Nice feather work Greyjeth! Haven't heard of anybody that has found all locations themselves yet. Asaic I also agree with the idea of printables in white and on-screens in black
