So, I was playing sequence 6 in my game where I haven't destroyed any borgia towers, and I get to the mission "Trojan Horse." If you don't know, that is where you escort the disguised soldiers to the French Fortress. Anyway, since there is a Borgia tower controlling the area you have to go through, I thought the mission would be really hard.
Long story short, the Borgia tower was nonexistent during the mission. The game said I was in a restricted area, but the soldiers around the tower completely ignored me. What is the point in Borgia Towers if the soldiers don't make it difficult for an Assassin to waltz around killing guards at checkpoints?
Man thats lame, I was considering doing a playthrough destroying minimal towers to make the game harder, but it looks like it doesnt even matter.
Oh well at least free roaming is still hard since there are more guards in the game
There is a Borgia Tower there but you are disguised as FRENCH! The French are allies of the Borgia....

Haha. Thanks
So other missions where you aren't disguised as FRENCE well make guards suspicious of you? Maybe I will do this.

Yeah man. Any other mission that you ain't disguised as french, you'll be detected by the guards that are on the specific borgia tower.
You can't expect to be detected while disguised as french, since the french are allies of the borgia. The Baron de valois and Cesare made an alliance.
