WARNING, BROTHERHOOD CONTENT !
So...you don't know how Revelations begins.
Nope i don't. :s
Darn.
Lol if everyone here knows how AC:R will begin, why not tell me ?
We only know that something causes him to travel to Masyaf. The devs at the Ubisoft event at E3 said that it was a pilgrimage to see what the original Assassin Order was all about or something like that.
If they didn't tie in the part where Ezio travels back to the Sanctuary, then they're not paying attention to their own spin-off series of failure (single-player-wise).
I'm sure he uses his Eagle Vision and finds a seal or clue to the seals on Altair's statue. I bet this is where he improves his Vision to Eagle Sense...somehow...
Well, that i know too. lol
That's why i made this topic. No one has ideas or "predictions" of how it is going to be ?
They actually answered that question about what he was doing in Monterigoni, and they said that they might allude to it, but they won't actually show it in-game, since he's really just scratching a symbol on the wall and going down to check out his old basement.
The allusion was in the GameInformer podcast, which was just speculation.
I think they said that they were speculating based on their talks with ACR devs. Anyways, it would be a boring scene to show, so I'd be surprised if they bothered showing it.
Hmm...... Interesting. and Indeed guys.
Well we did see the Demo, I guess that will be part of the beginning...
Yeah, or maybe a mission in the middle of the game.. I don't think that will be on of the last missions.
*out of topic comment*
I really liked the addition of zip lines and the "upgraded" borgia towers, the assassin's dens, also i liked those random quests throught the game, like a shop beign robbed and stuff like that.
And you fyiByas ?
I saw a video saying that the demo was somewhere in the middle of the game.

Are you asking me for something? Anyway...
Ubisoft does what they can to improve the game with every release... I'm looking forward to the new locations which makes a great sandbox world.
Love to see if theres a secret location inside Masyaf
YEAH ! I secret location inside masyaf would be awesome ! Nice thinking.
Also Joey, i heard something like that too.
Hook swords would've been kinda cool... lol
Not just a hooked hidden-blade
Yes it would, but it will have more a feeling of a ninja. lol.
Those hook swords reminds me alto of a ninja.
maybe a new wepon for AC3
Wait a minute...a strange though just occurred to me. Ezio is an Italian dude speaking Italian. The Animus just decodes it to English, or whatever language we set it to in the options menu.
How is gonna communicate with the people in Constantinople? They don't speak fluent Italian there, do they? Perhaps Ezio to some classes on Arabic or something...
The Animus decodes any language into whatever the player speaks; for Desmond, English. The Animus 2.0 had trouble keeping it up with some words ("merda") and Rebecca even states that French and a few other languages would be difficult, if not impossible, for the machine to translate. The only reason we can understand the French soldiers in Brotherhood is because they are speaking Italian in French accents, so Ezio understands them. Therefore, the Animus understands them.

Yes, hopefully characters will have different languages in Constantinople other than the typical Italian accent.

Apparently, it was not rare for Assassins of the real life Order to be fluent in several langages. Some missions required them to impersonate someone else to get close to their target, waiting for the opportunity to strike. I remember a similar topic created for Altaïr, as he speaks with French and English persons without any problems, but the Crusade setting justifies it, and he might have learned to speak them because he was born within the original Order. But Ezio was kind of thrown into it, he was taught how to fight and be stealthy, but I wonder about langages. Arabic doesn't seem like the kind of langage that he would have learnt reading a few books while sailing to Constantinople.

Do you refer to when she speaks about the translation software? I remember that she says that she couldn't do anything about the Italian because it is too buggy, but I thought she was referring to AC1 when she said "but if you hear any French or German, watch out". Because you can hear both in AC1, and hearing them during the Renaissance when everyone speaks Italian would mean that Desmond would be experiencing the bleeding effect once again ?
ezio is the head of the assassin order maybe all assassin need to learn to speak the language of the head of the order
Al Mualim's real betrayal was forcing the order to learn Elvish with him.
Ezio's story takes place over 40 years. In all that time of gaining wisdom, he could have learned 2 or 3 languages at least on a basic level. Enough to get by, at least. Or maybe Altair's seals shove some language knowledge into his brain. Who knows?
By the events of Brotherhood, he's at least bilingual (he speaks French during one of the Valois missions).

Actually, he says he learned some of that language back when he lived in florence, which means he learned what he knows at around 17, showing an aptitude for learning languages. I'd not be surprised if him learning the language over the course of the game is a plot point.
