These people are just horrible at this game. They're like the "headless chickens" Jack ran into.

I'll agree with that, but just the ability to see what it's like is cool. I don't like how they're not using their abilities as much though.

They're also sprinting and causing chases every few seconds. I'm actually kind of annoyed that these people don't know a thing about the series and are allowed to play it before anyone else.

Plenty of skilled players have gotten to go hands on with the game, and it's been playable at events.

I like the Machinima crew, and they can reach a much wider audience and showcase multiplayer to them than any of us here could.
No they're not perfect, but the majority of the people playing the game are not going to be perfect. This stream will hopefully have shown them that you can have fun in the game without being uber-skilled.

It's so funny to me how a game being fun no matter your skill level is usually considered a bad thing from a hardcore competitive standpoint, whereas it's a good thing for most people who play games.

It's also funny to me how neither side seems to understand why developers do things to appease the other side.

Imagine this situation: A live stream of Halo 4 multiplayer, but most of the players are camping. That's the shooter-equivalent of this stream.

You would still get a feel for the game. And players who don't know much about strategy for the game or haven't seen it before won't even pick up on that.

EDIT: Meanwhile people who like the machinima crew AND know how to play the game can enjoy laughing at them mess up on the stream.

Ironically, nearly every tweet/comment on the stream that was publicly read by the crew was about their playstyle. So even the viewers during it were complaining about it.

Machinima, if you can hear us, we need your help. We'll make it worth your time. (And why not? If people enjoy watching compilations of glitches in AC, they should enjoy in depth stuff.)

If you have a youtube channel and high quality capture card, you can become a machinima partner and put whatever videos you want on there. Escoblades and Shenmue36 did it, they're really great players. Focused more on multiplayer mind you.

To clarify my earlier statements I understand how frustrating it is to watch bad gameplay when you're good at the game. But you can still get a sense for how the game works, and people who didn't know about it may be motivated to try now.

I'm just finding the good in this situation, I know there's bad. And the reasons for the situation being that way make sense: none of these guys have had time to get super-skilled at most multiplayer games, expecially those with bad servers. Most of them also only played the campaign of Assassin's Creed, as most people buy it for the singleplayer.
