I have not gotten Assassins creed Brotherhood yet, and i don't quite understand how your assassins work.
Could someone please explain this to me? or perhaps make a video just on the assassins you recruit? Thanks
Calling your assassin's works a bit like mercenaries or thieves. You target a guard, and then press the appropriate button (LB on xbox 360). Two of your assassin's will spawn nearby, rush in and kill your target and any other guards participating in the fight, and then run off and despawn. If you press the button twice, four will come, six being the total amount of assassins you can call at one time. After calling in your assassins, you must wait for a cooldown before you can call them again. Your assassins CAN die. Having all your six assassins ready and holding down the button will have them perform a so called "arrow storm", killing all nearby guards instantly.
You can have a total of 10 assassin recruits, it all depends on how many borgia towers you have burned down. When a new recruitment spot is available, a ton of recruitment "side missions" will appear on the map, in which you save a citizen from a group of guards. In favour that citizen join your guild. You then send them on contracts around eroupe through pidgeon coops scattered across Rome, earning them different amounts of experience depending on the difficulty of the contract. As they gain experience and level up, you can upgrade their armor and weaponry.
It's all really quite simple, the game will teach you everything you need to know.
NoFlogging has explained the Assassin's system pretty much completely there
Its not an answer to your question but I just wanted to say that I wish the recruitment of Assassin's was more difficult or story based. It would be cooler if you had to carry out a full mission to help them, killing more than just 4 guards, who can be killed without them realising you're even there
It would also be nice if the recruitment fitted in with the story of the game and flowed better as they seem like abit of a random add-on. Some of them should be recruited through the story, for example, within a major cutscene when you help save someone during a big fight. The small scuffles randomly dotted across the map make the Assassin's seem very separate from the main story and look a bit odd too
The use of them is very cool but the way they are recruited is too random and disjointed, IMO.
Thank you vary much, it might be simple but no one really shows all that stuff in videos
thanks again.
In the recruit missions do any of your civilians (soon to be recruits) suddenly die forcing you to find another standoff scenario?

Yes! its extremely annoying lol.
I was going to save a civilian on a cliff-side. Stupid guards pushed him off the edge and he died. i had to go find another civilian (luckily there are alot)
Had the same issue with the same civilian I threw 3 throwing knives from below the cliff to kill three of the guards at the same time. The last guard knocked him off and he was dead!
The way I usually rescue civilians is, I call Assassins on two guards, then I quickly assassinate the third AT THE SAME time as my Assassins kill the other two. The 4th one is all alone against 4 people, the tables have turned.
