I actually found this out myself when i replayed the beginning of the game. I always play as Desmond anyway so i never see Ezio's armor aside from the cutscenes where they remove outfits.
It works just fine, but somehow it glitched the rest of the game. If I replay the same memory as in the video, Ezio will be wearing Pasha's armor again, even if he isn't equiped with it before starting the mission from the DNA menu. And if I replay the first two memory seals missions, Altaïr's face is the same as the one he has in the third (with a beard).
So I wouldn't recommend doing it, unless you don't mind these glitches.
Altaïr's face is the same as in the third, even while not having done these glitches. It's a design fault by Ubi.
Replay is always Pasha's armour, if I'm correct.
What I meant is that Altaïr only gets a beard starting the 3rd memory, but once you do what's described in the video he will have one even in the first and second memories, in which he originally have none.
i had that glitch even before i removed my Armour
What I'm saying is that that glitch happens, regardless of whether you've performed the technique in the video. I've got it and I haven't even replayed that memory.
That's weird. I replayed them one or two times before doing the Pasha armor glitch and all was well. It started to happen after, so I assumed it was due to it. Something else must indirectly trigger it then.
I think there's a broken timeline in the Altair memories (apologies for going off topic). After beating the second memory I replayed the first. I somehow lost my sword and knives. Then after beating the third memory I went back to the first and got my knives back, but not the sword. Also in the loading screens Altair has two hidden blades. If you perform a sidestep kill the animation is done as though there are two hidden blades. And at least one time I grasped a ledge with the hookblade. 0.o
The Altaïr section feel really cheap and tacked-on to me.
