Since we have some screenshots (and plenty of intuition) as to what weapons could be used in this next installment of Assassin's Creed, I thought we could guess and confirm different weapons that have been seen or that we might see in Unity. What weapons do you see making the final cut? What would you want to see in the french revolution? Remember: Nothing is true. Everything is permitted Wink

I have seen screenshots that suggest there is at least one flintlock pistol (on Arno's right side you can see the pistol grip in the shot where he's overlooking the crowded gallows) and obviously swords, possibly rapiers.

Another screenshot shows Arno standing in a narrow street/walkway among shops with his back to us. And on that back, Altair's short sword!! I personally hope that short swords (if not just Altair's) make an appearance in this game, along with throwing knives. And no, I don't just mean one "Highlight-to-kill" knife looted from a certain type of enemy.

Maybe bring back that nifty triple-throw that Ezio did with throwing knives to dispatch three targets silently? Maybe? Please??

Those are some of the weapons I can think of immediately but I want to know what you'd like to see return as well as what you think will be utilized this time around in the assassin's arsenal.

I think we'll see something clever with the Hidden Blade, either in the way it's used, or some kind of modification to it.
As for the Triple Throw, I love it, but I think its animation is a bit crazy. I'd rather just tag three enemies, then use the Triple Throw and have Arneaux throw three, one after the other very very fast rather than toss three at the exact same time. It just seems a bit odd to me, that's all. The new idea for the animation would also look cooler, I think.

I'm hoping there aren't that many guns in the game. AC3 overused them, and although I didn't play AC4, that looks to be the case as well. I'd prefer it if rooftop archers were the only ones with access to guns, and maybe soldiers in battle sequences.

Kind've wacky but I want parachutes to return in ACU. From the teaser trailer it looks as if france has some large scale buildings that'll make use for em'. Hidden blades could use something new can't think of what exactly. If the footblade thing is true that would be awesome.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

You can't possibly overuse guns in a pirate game in an era where guns were prevalent.

That's like saying they overused pipes in Super Mario Brothers... he's a plumber, they use pipes. They're pirates, they use guns. It's an army in the 18th century, they use guns.
