Glitches in the assassination mission from memory block six Jerusalem. For the setup you first have to leave the city after the assassination and restart the mission. If anyone is unfamiliar with that please watch the original video.

Maria's Early Assassination
After restarting the mission something changes. The first time I did this I raced to the target. She was still in the cemetery, but not in the original spot. Then after a couple of tries I decided to walk to the place instead when I was most of the way there. She was out of the cemetery, but wasn't affected by any type of attacks. Then I tried to see if she walks when I'm at a certain distance away. So I tried again and sure enough she starts walking when you reach the sweet spot. If you get too close she stops. And if you get far away again she spawns back at the assassination location. If either of those happen just desynchronize to start the mission over again. Anyway I decided to assassinate Maria using the Punching Bag style since it hasn't been done before on her, and since simply using the hidden blade was getting old. (Early Death and Punching Bag. That's two assassination styles in one.) Since the game recognizes her as a target the memory corridor scene follows. She flees afterward as usual, and all the characters in the cemetery mysteriously disappear. This counts as an Early Death type assassination although she does survive it.

The Scene Without Maria
Think of this as There is no Maria 2.0, although she is still there. Like I said before if you get too close to the scene location Maria stops moving and can't be assassinated (this was probably done by the developers to prevent anyone from assassinating her if they could somehow get to her before the scene). She just stands there holding her hands as though ready for the scene to start. When you do start the scene she stays where she is during it but comes to fight you after it.

Have you tried this on Sibrand? Ian sometimes tells the story of a new player who saw an X walking around his map of Acre and hunted it down. It turned out to be Sibrand. He got the whole Memory Corridor scene even though the assassination didn't take place at the harbor. Your exploit may shed some light on how that happened.

You won't even feel the blade.

I was actually thinking of Sibrand when I did this. Here's Ian's original comment (from the William Superfast Blitz topic).

What would be a glitch? Something that cant be reproduced reliably. For example, one player reported that he saw Sibrand strolling through the streets of Acre as he was headed to the Acre port to start the cutscene for the assassination mission. He killed Sibrand in the streets, and the game counted it as the assassination. The likely explanation is that the game had spawned Sibrand in the wrong location, and Sibrand was just headed to the port for the cutscene, as it was his next waypoint.

Of course we know that it would be an early death, not a blitz since he died before the checkpoint after the scene.
As of now most of the targets in AC1 can be killed before it should be possible:
Robert de Sable in memory block 1 Masyaf.
Al Mualim in memory block 1 Masyaf.
Garnier de Naplouse right before the scene in memory block 3 Acre.
William of Montferrat right before the scene in memory block 4 Acre.
Jubair al Hakim right before the scene in memory block 5 Damascus.
Maria right before the scene in memory block 6 Jerusalem.
