Perhaps any thread relating to the storyline and potential spoilers should have "SPOILERS" added to the title? Just a thought for those who won't be playing for a while/don't want the story ruined for them.

Haha. No problem. Just thought it was best to do that. Tbh, anyone with sense would realise which threads may contain spoliers but it'll help to avoid anyone getting annoyed as they won't have an excuse now

I have to say that the beginning of ACB is probably the most epic so far. I've been watching videos on Youtube from people who already have it.

Thanks all for consideration the few of us who don't have PS3 or 360. Truly a pity that PC version always comes out months after it comes out for Console. Evil Ubisoft.... So, I will be avoiding spoiler tags/threads for a while, it seems. Until I get bored with waiting and spoil myself a little...

I just finished the Story i gotta say, it's gonna be a real bummer waiting 2 years to see what happens. Aside from that i thought it was pretty damn good ending and the story was really good aswell, i think i like it even more than AC2's story.

Anyone else finish it or am i one of the first?

ye i finished it to. Although one thing im confused about which really isnt important..

at the end of AC1 u culd still free-roam as altair because you had access to the animus
at the end of AC2 u culd still free-roam as ezio because you were in the animus inside the truck
at the end of AC:B after...'no spoilers' you're nowhere near an animus o_o

I was gonna talk about spoilers but i wasn't sure if should make a new thread for discussing the story in detail.

One minor complaint i have about the game is it takes too freakin long to to get you 2nd Hidden Blade again. They also make you pay for the Climb Leap ability, apparently Ezio needs a stupid glove in order to do it even though he should remember how.

Another thing, the map could really do with some more color i think. Like mark the shops and landmarks that aren't renovated in RED. I know i missed a few as i was running around buying all of them.

A restart from checkpoint would've been nice for when you fail Full Syncronization(Completionist ), I've restarted a lot missions a number of times simply cause i made a stupid mistake and got dectected.

Aside from that, it was a really enjoyable game! I loved recruiting Assassins and training up to master, i hope they have that in AC3 in some way or another.

I love training assassins! I already have 4 or 5 Full Assassins

And as for the double-blade, i always thought that was a bit overkill and i didnt mind running around with a single-blade.

For the climb-leap glove..I was thinking about that. and you're right, who knows why he would need a glove to do it now. During the villa attack, Ezio can climb-leap up the wall when its getting destroyed, soo who knows

One thing about the Assassins: During the cerimony you only see one dude(or lady) being initiated and there's a bunch of rookies lining the hall. While the one cutscene counts for everyone it would've been cool to SEE them all get intiated at the same time.

I also wish more of them talked to when you approach, i think there's only that one assassin in the corner that talks(who sounds an awful lot like Sister Teodora from AC2). Everyone else just stands there repeating the same animations.

I don't think it'd be cool to watch them all get initiated at one time. I mean it'd just be Ezio going down a line of like 10 assassins and burning their hand. Not to exciting to watch lol.

Now if all 10 assassins did a leap of faith at the same time...that'd be worth seeing lol

just so people know at the end of brotherhood a little way into the credits someone yells *shit hes going into shock (desmond obviously) other guys voice: get him into the animus quickly sorry but i cant remember the rest nor can i fint anywhare the dialog but its clear these 2 men put desmond back into the animus2.0 whate even stranger it the first voice sounds exactly like subject 16 O____________O

My theory is that one of them was William M, the Assassin higher-up who emails Lucy and Shaun.

Also something to point out - Abstergo has absolutely no idea that the Vault under the Colosseum exists, as the only two people known to have entered it are Marcus Brutus and Ezio [Brutus had one son, born before Caesar's assassination].

I reckon they also don't know what's inside the Vatican Vault, as I reckon S16's ancestor was born before that. It's clear from ACII that Abstergo did at least know of Ezio, and explored his life to an extent, but they didn't know Minerva's message. However, glyphs could still be imprinted on Ezio's later memories, because the way I read it, S16's consciousness exists in the Animus.

Just a couple observations.

I heard those voices during the credits too, the guy that says "Get him in the Animus" sounds a lot like Vidic. The Templars did have Monterggioni under survailence and Rebecca said something about a suspicious looking van so it's possible they could've followed them to the Colloseum.

Regaurding Lucy's death, I have the theory that the Templars have the Shroud of Eden and they'll use it to heal her. Still curious why Juno made Desmond kill her though.

The ending was very ominous. There is a 6th sense that humans are missing. "You can SEE, TASTE, HEAR, TOUCH and SMELL. But still, you lack knowledge." Those Who Came Before kept it hidden/didn't give it to humans. "The 6th sense that we kept from you." Even with Desmond's Eagle Vision, it's probably not the true 6th sense because:

"You see the blue shimmer.. hear the words. And still, knowledge is locked away."
That's very interesting.
Juno made Lucy sound like some kind of traitor.
She was saying something about how she "Is not the one." or something like that.
Also, Lucy was probably the only one that needed to die, due to Juno not forcing Desmond to kill Shaun OR Rebecca either. He could have killed all of them, because they were frozen by the Apple of Eden.
She said something about some female guiding Desmond to wherever he needs to go, but that she doesn't "see" her there. That automatically means it's NOT

Lucy or Rebecca, Juno said she doesn't see the one that's there.

Judging by Subject 16's Truth video, Eve is who Desmond needs to find "in Eden".
That most likely means that Desmond needs to find some woman who had DNA from Eve.
Judging by The Truth video from ACII, a theory is that in that case, Desmond has DNA from Adam.
Hence the Eagle Vision. Most Assassins are not genetic Assassins. Hence why Lucy, Shaun or Rebecca, or any other Assassin than Desmond, Altair, Ezio or anyone in that lineage DOES NOT have Eagle Vision.
That would further support the theory that Desmond is descended from Adam.

If you leave the Sanctuary Turn ON Eagle Vision you'll see a red path leading to a sewer outside of Monterriggoni... The real Lucy might be somewhere else... Hint Do this on 2nd playthrough...

Did you see Lucy's face after Desmond wakes up from the Animus after S16 puzzle "she is hiding something"

The Animus was invented or a gift from THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE

MINERVA sought the future so as the other goddess who both know A ENDING IS COMING

Desmond's scene frozen by the Apple was pretty funny I laughed at Desmond's Face

The goddess sought Lucy as an Enemy the cross darkens the horizon... Maybe the real Lucy disappeared and the goddess already knew that...
"You know very little. We must guide you." "Only she remains to be found" "GO ALONE" Credits roll... another assassin says "Put him back into machine. It's the only way to fix this." AC3 another Ancestor...YES

when I started reading I thought you were going to pull some kind of Mason-Reznov twist, but your theory makes a lot of sense. And I saw the eagle vision path too, but then, in what moment would have Lucy get caught so that Desmond didn't see or here anything?

Lucy isn't dead In my opinion... Juno and Minerva has the 6th sense which is knowledge... Future and Past.

Subject 16 seems to hold lots of knowledge in his past ancestors due to the animus. Which is the past not future. But he knows what Desmond needs. Desmond will find S16 in the dark.

Juno guides Desmond to kill Lucy because she sought The cross darkness the horizon (Templar) "Awaken The sixth." Which means 6th sense = knowledge

There is something suspicious about Lucy at the end...Can't stop looking at Desmond's Face Haha Abstergo must have kidnap Lucy when she got lunch for Desmond...

Abstergo is very sneaky and in control of technology could have made another Lucy you never know...

i liked her despite her getting way to little screentime in AC2 aswell
