Game: Assassin's Creed Unity
Memory: La Halle aux Bles
Style: Lethal / Stealth Kills / Stealth Reaper

Arno harvests the lives of his enemies inside and around La Halle aux Bles, applying liberal use of his Phantom Blades.

Trivia: This took me 49 Checkpoint Restarts. This mission is hilariously easy to Ghost through, but as soon as you try to actually start killing people Unity starts shaking its finger at you and being an insufferable wreck.

More like speedy stealth kills. Cool For the most part. Good use of tools.

I loved the use of guard AI investigation of last known position to get him to walk away before going up and over to kill everyone else.

Hey DAZ,

Is there are path to stealth reaper the La Touche assassination? I watched this one today and he did a good job for all the outer guards... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YixF6p7YVeU

Yeah, that's the reason I haven't done a video of my own on that mission yet, StealthGamerBR is basically the codifier of Stealth Reaper/Stealth Kill runs. Him, Volound, Rabbit, clockner, all of those guys are super, super intense when it comes to this kind of gameplay. They're my biggest inspirations for Lethal Stealth while prenatual is my biggest inspiration for Non-Lethal Stealth.

That video's fantastic, I don't really see a reason to do one of my own, but I'm always open to people tapping my shoulder and telling me, "Hey man. Do that, I want to watch it."

That said, isn't what SGBR did already what you're looking for? Or are you specifically looking for, a video where every single guard in the area is Assassinated with no Detects?

That could be cool.

La Touche is the most traditionally "Assassin's Creed-y" Assassination in the whole game so in theory it's got the most classic vibe.

I hear you on the SSI Trick'ing / Detection Dragging the Brute over to me! That's something I've been getting a ton of compliments on by various people, it's definitely the one part of the video that's the most impactful in that classically Stealthy, "tricky bastard" way.

Is this not the goal of pure lethal stealth? Haven't you been doing this already to everyone else?

I wonder if this mission would just come across as too gimmicky due to the need of lots of tools. Maybe there's a way to do it in an order where you take out some outer guards, then inner guards, to slowly pare down the numbers so it's not a situation where all your tools are used at once. This mission may even have use for the money bomb to get spectators to rush the stage area giving you blend groups closer to the central guards for stealth kills. No idea if that would work, but it would be fun to see a run with no detects where every single person is killed.

You're right in your mindset, thinking that pure lethal stealth is eliminating all non-innocent life in the area.

The reason I clarified and asked if that was actually what you were looking for is because, since SGBR already made a video that's a bit too close to what that would be (and probably did it more impressively than me), I was wondering whether I should actually do it myself.

I think I'll give that a shot at some point, it'd be really cool to figure it all out.

Thoughts on this?

Altair Auditore of TheHiddenBlade has done that to Assassinate La Touche.

Money Bomb feels like a gimmicky item to me, so I may use it once or twice, but generally speaking it feels like it doesn't let the player play with Intention as much as some other items like Smoke Bombs do. Still, for this mission it might actually be good, since there's legitimately a big crowd there, while there isn't in most missions.

Oh man. That video is so so good! Thanks for linking it! I either haven't seen it or had completely forgotten about it!

Yeah. I agree with you on money blend. But if it allows you to MOVE the crowd in order to stealth kill all the guards, rather than using a smoke bomb to disguise yourself, it might be pretty cool, and something different.
