Game: Assassin's Creed Syndicate
Memory: A Spot of Tea
Style: Ghost / No KOs / No Kills / Non-Lethal
Jacob Frye investigates some weapon crates heading to an unknown destination in order to find the identity of Plutus, the man planning a heist on the Bank of England. He does so without being seen and without harming anyone. Because Jacob fancies some tea, he decides not to waste much time so he can get back to having a nice hot cup of it sooner rather than later.
Been a while since I did some legit Ghost stuff. Here's a quick one, showcasing one of my favorite things about this playstyle: it's about nothing more and nothing less than being as efficient and effective as possible. The incoming Stealth Reaper variant of this video is undoubtedly going to be longer than 50 seconds, because I have to track down every enemy and kill all of them without being seen.
Ghosting is a *perverse* kind of pleasure because it feels like *breaking the rules.* This is an action videogame, so killing enemies is just the done thing, right? It's just what players are supposed to do? Well, screw that. Renegade that I am I don't really care about the norms or what's "expected" of me, so I just rush through the mission, drop Smoke in the specific spot that I need to, and then immediately leave without even giving a single foe a noogie.

Game: Assassin's Creed Syndicate
Memory: A Spot of Tea
Style: Lethal / Reaper / Stealth Kills
Jacob Frye tracks down the location of the Cockham shipping crates intended for Mr. Plutus, and as insurance, he slaughters all the guards watching over them. There's no time to think of tea, in the face of the oppression these thugs exert onto London.
I kinda like the way this area is laid out. There's a natural flow throughout the area if you know which enemy is closest, so it almost feels like a traditional/linear level. The guard placement here is also really great. It's a shame this part of the mission is so short because it's really quite enjoyable. I know that multiple designers built the missions for AC Syndicate, but it would be great if I could praise the one who designed this Stealth section. I really, really like it a lot. Quite a few enemies here die quite fast, too, so the tightness and claustrophobia of the area works to an Assassin's advantage as long as they stay unseen.
