no doubt! I've been there filling in some holes in past posts I've left already...I'm glad to see it back up. It was like losing a sister (or I imagine that's what it feels like anyway). Both of these sites compliment each other...to lose one is trully a loss. (don't you dare QQ me either! )

Ahh! Now I have to go back to micromanaging my browser tabs on a morning! I have my igoogle page, 2 other forums I go on regularly, my youtube subscriptions, this forum and now the acmaps forum to check again as well.... but anyway "YAAAY! ITS BACK!"

i was actually pretty ok with it being down.
not happy, never that, but not upset either now that we have this site instead.

i mean, when there are 2 forums with virtually the same people (and the same topic too) one is bound to at best be the secondary one, at worst die completely. i've seen that happen before.

Actually QQ means quit crying noob it was meant as a joke . It's a term meant to call out someone that is whining or not getting their way. Stab came closest with his urban dictionary but I think the meaning has evolved since that was created even. Either way. QQ! You have to post in two forums! MUahahahahahaha!

The domain came up for renewal and Fire didn't have the cash for it. Some of us have made donations, but I guess the total wasn't enough yet.

If anybody wants Fire's PayPal address, message me and I'll look it up for you.

The domain name expired. I reminded Firestorm about it on December 16 and again on December 27 (the day it expired). He was aware of it and intended to renew for another year.

A very few people (including me) are still active on the Maps forums. I think he's dying.. (

Because I don't expect anything about AC2 (from Fire), I don't go there anymore. That in no way takes away from the contributions Fire has provided. If it wasn't for his site, I would never have met the ppl I have come to know and respect here. I don't mean to sound like I am giving a eulogy, but in reality, I guess that is what it is. That being said, I'd love to see Fire come and join this forum. It's an advantage for him actually. He doesn't have to maintain or pay for the site. I'd love to see him.

He said several times that he is doing up some AC2 maps and screenshots, but he's a busy guy. Could be quite a while until he gets enough time to finish it all.

I too appreciate all he's done. Most recently, his maps are coming in handy for me, as I'm using them (plus Stab and Ian's videos) to make my own AC1 maps, which may appear on this site if I ever get them done. The maps themselves are done, but the daunting task of taking and editing 410 screenshots is still looming over me. And then I still have the AC2 maps to redo, too.

Oh, to have more time...

I feel really bad that I don't post there anymore. The only reason I still go is to convince Linfonel to buy a 360 instead of a PS3.
