Alright finally got some way to record videos, on the weekends I sometimes visit my parents so i can use their computer to record. It was tough finding a way to kill him with style that hasn't been covered already, so this video is mainly focused on the escape.

I have no idea what happened to the body guards, but by running up that wall after killing Abu'l I can usually by myself some time to collect my thoughts and scatter the body guards, giving my enough time to get to the roof. This escape route doesn't use the haystack placed outside the palace, but instead I jump from rooftop to rooftop to get to the souk. From there you can drop into it from above and get to another leap of faith into a different haystack

That stunt you did was just shy of what would kill Altair. Rob's applause

Nicely done! Excellent job on finding that freerunning trajectory. Wink

I thought i would add something, you know how I drop down the gap in the roof to get onto the beams when escaping?

There is a smoother way to do it. If you just run towards it you end up hanging, but if you jump early you will either go over it, or Altair corrects himself and landso n the edge of it. If you keep running you fall down instantly as he is off balance, looks smoother but I screwed it up in the video and didn't want to replay it for the xxxth time

About the guard tower, when I didnt have recording equipment I managed to do a stunt off it but haven't been able to replicate it. Basically if you in stand position they don't throw rocks at you, and there is a standing position high enough on the tower that is out of reach, so Abu'l just stands there. You can then change is position by throwing knives at him, I then jumped down and killed him, but I have yet to do it again while recording, you have to get there very early.

Just rewatched the vid. Did you notice how the guard cowers for a split second at 1:52?
Maybe at around 2:20, you could've used an early jump to land nicely on the platform? Hanging, then pulling up just takes the speed out of it.

And yeah, I noticed you tried early jump, but it didn't work out. There's also a frame of movement in which you bump into the other side, then fall down. It's when you use early jump into the bureau when that happens as well.

Don't tell anyone but i dont think that bodyguard chased me lol. You see him cower after I kill Abu'l, and while I was climbing the wall I never saw him throwing rocks at me, maybe I lost him? I did a really good stunt on Abu'l on another trial but the bodyguards weren't even there when I got out of the memory corridor, there was no chase. Another video ended halfway across the rooftops, they simply gave up before I got to the haystack

Very well done, I took a similar escape route to you but I missed that hiding spot compleatly and ended up doing a large fight instead.
