The results of glitching out of the warehouse during the Talal assassination.

Setup
Before starting the assassination I move a posted guard from the west (about a hundred and thirty meters away) to the closed door of the warehouse. After starting the assassination and scene where Talal leaves the warehouse I kill all the guards except one. Then I attack the guard outside and lock onto the one inside so I can counter my way out. Normally the guard outside will try to get to me by climbing to the roof, but after being attacked he will try to fight back for a short while. This presents a small window of opportunity.

So I can reach Talal on the roof without starting the cutscene on the warehouse roof. And... he has unlimited health. Talal wins for the most frustrating target in AC1. I also glitched out before Talal leaves the warehouse, but couldn't get back inside. The only interesting thing about that is the ladder leading to the roof spawns while the trapdoor on the roof is still there.

Well, it's the only very scripted mission on AC1 that you cannot kill your target in other way other than chasing after him.

But the video is entertaining Aurel, thank you for your hard work.

There is no way to be on the second floor of the warehouse when the cutscene begin? Or even, to reach the second floor without trigging Talal escape to the roof?

Any way of getting to the second floor causes Talal to escape to the roof. I sort of had an idea of glitching back in to the second floor, and he hopefully won't be invincible. If that's the case it might be considered an Early Death because although the assassination officially starts after the scene there are two more cutscenes until you should be able to kill him. And this assassination mission makes it impossible to be climbing during the scene since you get teleported into the warehouse once you go through the door.

There is no water in this city, correct?

Are the gates to the city closed? Can you move Talal outside of the city?

I can see the gears in your head turning. Star As far as I know there isn't any water, but if there was you would probably get "target escaped" from the water assassination. And if I somehow got Talal below the map he would probably still be alive.

You are under city alert at the beginning of the assassination, so the city gates are closed. I've actually tried to get him out the gates before by having him combo attack his way out, but he never did it (and the reason why I tried that was because I wanted to see what would happen if I kill him while on a horse).

Here's a challenge: get a horse into the city. Completely insane if you ask me.

So you thought about that too? Wink I did try using the broken timeline exploit to spawn on a horse in AC1, but that didn't seem to work. But lets just say I have a few ideas to test out.

And I take it you mean a ride-able horse, in which case the Robert de Sable horse in Masyaf doesn't qualify, or King Richard's horse, or the one under Florence since you can't reach it, although the one at the end of AC2 is technically in Rome, on the city wall .

Great minds think alike. Tongue

I'd say you want a horse with collision for the target. Riding would be helpful, but not necessarily required.
