Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice [PC]
Ashina Castle Gate
Stealth Reaper, No HUD, Aggressive
Detections Isolated / Insta-Cleared

So, I know this is not Assassin's Creed... But also? This is totally Assassin's Creed. Tongue Seriously. Look at it.
FROM Software straight-up dumpstering Ubisoft right now.

The most notable technique you should be aware of is Bloodsmoke Ninjutsu; upon stealth-kill, you can use the victim's blood to create a massive cloud of bloodsmoke which helps you stay concealed, and chain actions to other enemies in the area.

Did this game just come out? It looks a lot like what I would expect from an Asian themed AC. The grappling hook actually looks useful, compared to Syndicate's tacked on last minute feature.

This game just came out, yes. The grappling hook is incredibly useful, you can use it on pre-defined grapple points but they nearly all look the same so you start to recognize them even without HUD on, you can grapple from anywhere at any time so you're not "grounded," and certain enemies can even be grappled onto/toward to counter some moves they do.

Just wanted to say that I've been really enjoying your Stealth Reaper clips in this game.

I've commented this on one of your videos, but I'll say it again here: for a game that doesn't have a problem with violent or bloody animations, there really need to be more stealth takedown animations. Playing through this game stealthing as much as you can, you're gonna see that one animation like a billion times. There's that one and the air takedown, and that's it.

Pretty much, yeah. I would have liked a greater variety of stealth kill animations, but then, AC1-Revelations had the exact same Low Profile stab from behind. Tongue Sure, you could modify it by pulling High Profile or positioning differently at times, but those games worked perfectly fine with the limited anims they had, and they're arguably more stealth-heavy than Sekiro is. (Sekiro, being made by FROM Software is still a very combat-focused game and I'm doing a lot of cherry-picking when it comes to showing off certain areas.)

Thank you for the compliment, as well. I was wondering for a time whether it was worth it to do them.

I'm like "wow this looks a lot like Dark Souls".

Turns out this game is developed by From Software. Wink

Since this is the official Sekiro topic (and I'm too lazy to make my own), I'm just gonna dump this here: cheesing three bosses in the latest update that added boss trials known as gauntlets where you fight multiple bosses in a row to unlock new skins and a combat art.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCVMhTl1jM0

This was done on new game+1. The stats are:
Attack: 21
Vitality: 20

Emma Boss Cheese
The original boss cheese can be found here (video by Tyrannicon): https://youtu.be/fIrkBc4vM1U
Pretty much use the combat art Ichimonji Double after dodging her attacks. For her regular attacks dodge forward and a little to the left as soon as she starts attacking (If you're still in front of her when you dodge, she may do another type of attack, like at 0:30).

Sometime she'll do a dash forward followed by a heavy attack. Simply run behind her to avoid getting hit (if you're fast enough you can interrupt the heavy attack with your combat art, but I find that too risky).

Not shown is how Emma sometimes starts with a combo attack, which is hard to dodge. I use an Ako sugar at the beginning to do more damage and shorten the fight. At the end of the fight I switch combat arts and use the ceremonial tanto for more spirit emblems (you obtain the tanto from a shichimen warrior before going to the Ashina depths), which I'll use for the Isshin fight.

Isshin Boss Cheese
The original boss cheese can be found here (video also by Tyrannicon): https://youtu.be/qVAoyfwSUYg

Very similar to the Emma Boss Cheese. You'll want to bait Isshin by performing a heavy attack, which he'll counter with a dodge followed by an attack. Dodge forward and a little to the left, followed by a whirlwind slash attack. If you perform the heavy attack while Isshin starts attacking you'll clash weapons, but you can still dodge and follow it with the combat art. Sometimes he'll do a heavy attack, which you'll need to dodge twice to avoid. At the end of his first phase you'll want to switch combat arts again.

The second phase is different. What you want to do is immediately use a Yashariku Sugar for maximum attack buff. Then chain Mortal Draw and firecrackers together to take out his posture before he can perform the flamed attack move. This is where the extra spirit emblems come in handy. He actually had a tiny bit of posture left which I deplete with a jump kick.

Thing about it is if Isshin blocks any of the Mortal Draw attacks you won't damage his posture as much. If you've got him pinned in a corner that won't be a problem, but that wasn't my case. Luckily for me I did an extra attack at 2:51 (if I hadn't he would still have some posture left). Another thing you could do is use a divine confetti right before his second phase for a slight damage buff. That's what I was planning to do to guarantee the second phase cheese wouldn't go wrong, but in the heat of the moment I didn't get the opportunity.

Demon of Hatred Boss Cheese
Don't know who discovered this old cheese, but you can see it in this video here at 7:32:
https://youtu.be/-P9ORHIFqyA

I start with luring the boss to where we can keep him stuck, using the lotus umbrella to avoid getting hit. What we need to do is get up the wooden tower first. To do that you first need to be sprint running (hold down dodge) and jump like on the video. I found you want to let go of the jump and dodges buttons right after you jump or you won't be able to grab the ledge.

Now you have to jump from the tower to the wall. This relies on a trick called "delayed jump", which has you jump off midair for extra range. The timing has to be frame perfect. Here's a tutorial on performing a delayed jump: https://youtu.be/56g7lWP0utY

Now you won't have that much trouble getting to the final boss of the Shura Gauntlet, Inner Father. There are strategy videos you can watch on Youtube, but as far as I know no easy way to cheese him.
