Sequence 12 memory 3. During this part of the game the whole city is a restricted area, so the challenge of being unseen is even greater. Combined with that is being forced into detection, not once but twice! However that isn't a problem with some THB exploits to help make Edward a ghost throughout the whole mission.

Tainted Blood

You start out by tailing El Tiburon to the location of Torres. Along the way you'll have to deal with the city guards. I figured it was better to follow by rooftop, where agunmen were the only problem. By using the path taken in the video you only have to worry about a few of them. Just stay out of their sight until they face away to move.

Next you reach the fort holding "Torres". The most direct route is from the tree in the front. A guard is patrolling that part of the roof. This part is a bit tricky since there are two other guards who can see you when you're moving from the roof to the inside. Keep an eye on the minimap to see which way they're facing (playing in standard quality sucks because it's too blurry to tell, so had to rely on some luck).

Now for assassinating the fake Torres. I wanted his death to seem mysterious, so poison was used. Before I would have tried a chokehold knockout to leave no evidence of foul play, but in this case it wouldn't work with remaining unseen.

Now for an exploit of remaining undetected after being forced into combat with El Tiburon after the memory corridor. Hanging against the wall removes Edward from the scene. Be careful what part of the wall your hanging onto because after the scene Edward is moved a little ways, which could cause him to be glitched in a wall or object. With this exploit El Tiburon doesn't see you, or any of the other spawned guards for that matter (the original guards from that area are despawned so you don't have to worry about being seen on rooftop).

You may be wondering, how can El Tiburon be killed mysteriously? The game developers managed to prevent most one hit kills and use of poison on him, so you're stuck taking down his health with gunshots. Well since you're undetected there's no distance restriction, which means There is No Spoon can be done on the ground of the fort after a little over 90 meters (it doesn't work on the previous target because he's despawned before that distance away). But even better is that it can also be done by using a nearby boat to board the Jackdaw. This also prevents you from being detected by the guards who inevitably storm into the fort after the assassination.

From the Jackdaw swim to the spot to the assassins' bureau. There's no danger of being seen then, except near the end where there's a guard on a dock and a nearby rooftop gunman. Now here's something I found amusing. On the way to the bureau after exiting the water is a sign "PYRATES BEWARE". Very ironic after completing a whole mission unseen in a city where every guard is on alert.

Awesome.

Nice video. Do you have a clip of Edward getting glitched into the wall?

Sorry this took so long. The way I make videos sure has changed with several+ hours of investigations. As a result the videos feel better made. Let's hope it's worth the time and effort.

Darn, if I knew people wanted to see it I would have recorded that. Disk already finalized; too late now. The first time it happened to me I was hanging on the outside wall on the front of the fort. After the scene I was glitched under the building. I could climb a wall near the side entrance, but couldn't get out.

Even more interesting is that I happened upon the glitched corridor scene by complete accident. It's one of those moments where you swear the planets are aligned perfectly. Originally I was hoping to make a variety pack and decided a ghost run was worth it's own video, even if it was only up to the "Torres" assassination.

That wasn't the only mistake. Usually the targets would be tagged right when I did eagle vision (at 0:39), but in this case they weren't near enough to the center of the camera.

I haven't seen a There Is No Spoon in a very long time - and certainly not one as interesting as this one. Using a Fast Travel/Warp Point/Boat to warp directly to the Jackdaw, that was pretty awesome. Stellar stealth on the approach as well, and the fact that your little hop downwards ("oops") did nothing to alter your plan was great. Good stuff!

Ditto. We don't even have a TINS category for AC4. Time to create one...

You won't even feel the blade.

I tried, but it was a false alarm.
