Double Courtesan Blending

This is a little something I found a while ago after watching Ian do the Having a Blast mission. He stood on the edge of a courtesan group and killed guards as they walked past .However with this trick you will be able to be mobile and use it. Many of you may already know this but then again there are bound to be some users here who don't
This trick allows you to stay blended with a group of courtesans and walk anywhere you please, right up to guards and kill them without the courtesans dispersing. However you cannot do it with one group, and I will explain why
Firstly, I will explain the two ways you can use courtesans to distract guards. The first way is to simply target a guard and press L1. The second way is to walk close to any guard and let the courtesans automatically distract them. 2 courtesans will walk away and distract them and 2 while stay with you. It is very hard to kill guards in this small blend area but its possible. However if you were to try this with multiple enemies, all of your girls will run off and distract guards, and you will be exposed
So, the best way to do this is to use two groups. You should use the first group to distract them using method one ( or a mix, have 2 disperse using method 2 and then use the other 2 to distract a separate group of guards) and then blend with a different group of courtesans. Do not use this group to distract guards, use it to walk right up to the guards unnoticed and kill them.

PS I tried to do some pre-assassinations but for some reason the target dissapeared when I came back after stalking the guest to the party, and I had to abort the memory.
Thanks for writing the explanation, Jack. I suspected that you left the second group unassigned but wasn't sure. Those guards keep on flirting with courtesans while their colleagues are dropping like flies! 
In your No Laughing Matter video you climb over a building at 4:30 and the courtesans manage to follow Ezio on the ground (by going around the building). How far can you push it before the courtesans will give up and return to their post?

You can go as high as the Duomo and they'll still be on the ground waiting for you. Same goes with mercs, but thieves will probably be on the roof with you.
Yeah i kinda stuffed up my positioning in that video, you have to come from a certain angle but i was lucky the girls followed me. For some reason in No Laughing Matter and in this video the targets dissapear when i kill them. Does this just happen to me? When I stab him with a spear, the screen went white and he dissapeared, I didnt edit that part it was strange
